After obama allow state to confiscate all Cryptos holdings without any warnings  Cry what did you through about the
future of bitcoin globally and in America ?? Will the price shut down  Undecided ??

Kind Of Respect ,
Bitcoin Boy .

How does this differ from any other financial asset, apart from the governments inability to intervene directly?

Well, Bitcoin simply screams "I support ISIS & buy child porn on illegal DARKnet markets," for one.
Like wearing a sandwich board with "Hallo!  I'm breaking ur lawz!  Arrest immediately pl0x!"

Seen over the last few days on finex, are there lots of hidden buy orders? The bid to ask curve is slightly downwards sloping, but we have seen that megasells hardly move the price downwards. To me it looks like something new.

It sort of looks like someone is taking advantage of shorters who don't see that the market is turning. However, if it's not a concerted effort, that might backfire.

I clearly don't understand your original criticism then. Nor do I understand your reply to my retort.
I guess that I did not express myself correctly. What I've been trying to say here is something that I've been saying for a while now.
People should be less focused on the price. The issues is that people panic easily and only look at Bitcoin in $ or some other currency. Bitcoin will work be it at $1 or $1000. Just look at the infrastructure development that happened in 2014 and that is happening now in 2015.
Don't get my wrong, I'd be glad if the price went up. Although a spike wouldn't be desirable, steady growth is much better.

People will be interested in Bitcoin for different reasons, and I am glad this forum reflects that.

This is the speculation sub forum, nearly everyone here is trading for the short term profit.

some proper analysis, which lacks alot in here:

According to strong bearish divergence on daily chart (which price didn't neutralized during weak rally) I see a pretty propabable H&S pattern

I see only move above 310 will harm bearish scenario

Volume-wise market has been positive since 1 April, but the momentum is lost after 3 Apr, so market is likely the have corrections.. just sayin.

Do someone know when will Coinbase's exchange be open to international customers?

As far as I know, they are going to open it in May 2015 or so.

That's good, it's a good platform with some better analysis and charts, wanting to be a part of them but still in queue...

Warning: Confrmed Gavinista

Among the companies at the forefront of this move is DRW Holdings, a high-frequency trading firm in Chicago founded by former options-pit trader Donald Wilson in 1992.

Not exactly a gilt edge trading house.

nothing-better-to-do user

If only you had something better to do.

If Stolfi hadn't withdrawn to academia in '92 we would all still be exchanging floppy disks and people would still have phone tables.

Best decision he ever made, safely behind big walls where people have to listen to you and not because they want to. Great high speed phone access and fancy phone tables to never miss a call announcing an email will be sent, so the IT department can closely monitor, otherwise it might dissapear into thin air.
