In a long forgotten year, people could use pictographs as a sort of representation, below their names on this esteemed fora.

Ok, I thought you meant it had turned into a bad thing.

Edit: Yeah, it would have been sweet to have that thing under my name.

He's always polite and never resorts to name-calling though. .
of course you do fatty

You call yourself Fatman. I don't see "fatty" as name-calling.  Undecided

And see I thought your name was referencing a certain fission device.

Believe me, if the market goes your way and bitcoin succeeds, you will cherish tarmi's posts.

Nick from the amiga demo scene in the 90s

Not one that I chose myself, but admittedly quite accurate

Definitely time to buy some bitcoin. This drop was a nice indication of price correction. I think price’s next move will tell us something
about the direction of the larger trend bitcoin will follow. But like I said. Definitely good time to buy, price might rise fast again.

Who the heck is the tarmi/scharmi people are talking about?

He's a bear who makes a lot of bearish posts, and has been caught in the occasional fib.

He's always polite and never resorts to name-calling though. I wouldn't call him a troll despite his extreme  and constant bearishness.

I think he's just talking his book and dreaming of cheaper coins.

bitfinex order book is looking really bad.

3 k till 230.

if we go under 210 sell everything.

Yet it refuses to go any lower! I know you're probably extremely short right now, possible on margin, but I hope you've set your stops accordingly...

I hope he is short on leverage and gets burnt badly. He used to be sort of a good read but nowadays it's getting close to trolling. I don't have to read what he has to say, there is nothing new. He's morphing into LambShroomie. Maybe he fears a bull market and misses 2014. But this is getting old quick.

of course you do fatty, because you are on the opposite side of the market. I am taking your money right now.

Jab acknowledged.

Let's put it this way.

This place can be just as annoying when it is filled with only moonbooters, as when filled with ponies and lambs.

Yeah, the greenback could drop by 10% one of these days. It has priced in the June FED hike about ten times over and is starting to look mighty wobbly.

Definitely more strength in BTC lately. The turnaround seems to have been around 225 what six weeks ago. It could drop to that level but I believe that the market has determined a new floor at about 250.

Everybody's free to an opinion. And Tarmi does put at least some of his trades on the record.

I tend to agree with his qualms about the amount of margin fueling the runs at 300, and the defense of 250.

But now we have spiking shorts, a triple "bottom", a valiant bull whale. As usual, this coin is a fickle mistress.

Interesting times but tarmi is in bed or ghost like I'd expect. tarmi ran his mouth earlier and had many peeps thinking we're going down but it's only casually went up. Any thoughts on things going south or his sho*t going north?

Tarmi just talks his book. Good luck to him.

Leveraged longs up to 23 million dollars. But shorts up hugely today to 19000 contracts.

I agree with tzupy we could easily get another 5 or even 8 million USD long interest as happened in July 2014. So a squeeze may not materialise.

Today has shown bull whale can stop bear whale if needed. The price is at the mercy of big players. Whoever bought 7k btc earlier could easily have bought 14k. It makes you wonder about timing though. A far smaller buy when the price was 264 earlier today would have propelled us back to the 280/290's for less ammo. Perhaps mystery buyer was waiting for sellers to fire first!
Scharmi guessed wrong big time tonight so that's the point here. Prices are moving up and tomorrow could change but that will be then. the signal he sent tonight was pompous and crap.
