Looks like that might have been the last bear trap this year?

If we do rally before new year then 2014 might not look so horrendous on the charts, and give us a good foothold into 2015

I think this is the start of a week of (mild) uptrend, the more i look at the graph the more it make sense.
After all, a bear market can't turn bull directly, it has to go through confusion (the last 2 months, possibly more).
So, now i don't believe anymore we'll have to retest 270 or even 300. Why should we?

Why don't some of the industry big shots set up a bitcoin stabilization fund?

Because it would mean buying bitcoins at price X when the rest of the market thinks that the price should be less than X.  Why would they put their money in a fund to have it invested in a way that they don't feel like investing on their own?

Manipulation is what ripple does best, along with other bonkers economies.

Pond scum recognize the value of Bitcoin.

If you are selling your Bitcoins, you are at least one evolutionary step behind pond scum.

Most of the actual panickers are gone. This just looks like (months long now) manipulation. I speculated about this before. Push the price down to buy cheap off market, make a net gain and do it over. Regular buying on exchanges would push the price up.
