Scamcoins also had speculative bubbles, what are we to learn from that?

You mean those pump and dump schemes involving a few people pumping the price and probably another few who get dumped on ? Hardly anything.

Doge had some interesting speculative bubbles.  Doge market cap is substantially larger than Bitcoin's was 5 years ago (@ the same age).

What are we to take away from this?

I'm not comparing the technologies, I'm comparing the speculative bubbles...

Internet-related businesses had speculative bubbles and Bitcoin has them...

- What also floats in water?
- Bread. - Apples.
- Very small rocks. - Cider! Great gravy.
- Cherries. Mud. - Churches.
- Lead. - A duck!
- Exactly.
- So, logically--
- If she weighs the same as a duck...
- she's made of wood.
- And therefore?
- A witch!

Well done!

Thank you for that arbitrary and completely unrelated Monty Python quote. Very creative and clever!

Brah, your reasoning is just as coherent as that skit.
And just as funny, though my guess is not intentionally.

Anyhow, congrats on the new low Smiley

Oh well only like everyone with half a brain understands that speculative bubbles are caused mostly by psychological factors.
...

Anyone with a complete, working brain OTOH also knows that Bitcoin and internet businesses having had speculative bubbles is as meaningful as both wood and ducks floating.

Scamcoins also had speculative bubbles, what are we to learn from that?

...
BTW, by far the funniest thing here in this conversation is that in your _only_ argument you are equalizing Internet and dot com stocks. Cheesy

Let's talk governance, lipstick, and pigs.
It took decades for people to figure out how to harness the power of Uranium. Now we have thousands of bombs aimed to kill us all a hundred times over... all in the name of peace. Bitcoin will replace those bombs by keeping the reins of power bridled.

It will cure cancer, and ward off evis spirits too.
At the very least a few trolls.

Found Lost beach - quiet now
I've been buying on the dips.

At this rate I should have the 50,000 BTC by the time the price drops to where I can buy 2 large pizzas.

I hope they're good pizzas. Cry

Oh well only like everyone with half a brain understands that speculative bubbles are caused mostly by psychological factors.

http://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/speculativebubble.asp

"While each speculative bubble has its own driving factors and variables, most involve a combination of fundamental and psychological forces. In the beginning, attractive fundamentals may drive prices higher, but over time behavioral finance theories suggest that people invest so as to not "miss the boat" on high returns gained by others. When the artificially high prices inevitably fall, most short-term investors are shaken out of the market after which the market can return to being driven by fundamental metrics."

0.618 seems legit

edit: too much people wait for double bottom
lazy moves
similar to May 2014
Toom much people wait for double bottom.

That's why we are going lower  Grin

PS: It doesn't show the image.

fixed screen

too much ppl wait for double bottom = bigger demand at this level

If supply at double bottom would be lower than at first dip, demand>>supply so people would start buy earlier

ofc panic = panic and big sells = panic

but i don't think that we'll see now volume of dumps like 275$ so maybe now 320-335 level is good to buy in.

check May 2014, people awaited for double bottom too...  Wink
