I wonder if some large miner is trying to sell off their stored up bitcoins in order to break even on their hardware investment before bitcoin price tanks more.

Oh i missed this. Fcking Nemesis guy again. Baller.....
I recall him being one of the first manipulators.

Yes, and he has some really quite interesting ways to do it. He is publicly a bull (at least used to be, I imagine still is) and wants BTC to succeed.

Is he at least known for manipulating it the other direction too?  If you are going to manipulate, upwards is "more fun."  Wink

I saw that too.  More 1200BTC buys and this wall will go down soon.   Grin

Hint of the beginning of the next bubble?

Of all the things to worry about, this wall is not likely to be one of them.

He's over on Risto's forum -- cryptocrypt.org

goat set-up cryptocrypt initially, some others manage it now (invite only) ... no idea why you think it is "Risto's forum".

I think it was Goat and Risto together (certainly from what I have gleaned there -- they are both very deferential to the other's involvement) and Risto certainly took the lead in the membership drive.  I know Goat never likes to think of it as 'his', whereas I always imagine Risto to consider himself the public figure head.  So, yeah, why not.

This wallzilla whale dude is torching money by selling in this way.

Basically, we are watching a replay of this: K Foundation Burn a Million Pounds

The guy walks off with 8 million $ while having spent pennies.
Clearly burning money :/

Could have walked off with a couple of million more by drip-feeding into rallies. Not a hell of a lot of extra work.

he must be hoping market take some % of his wall, give up and start trading lower, so then he can buy back cheaper.

Please explain.

I'm not seeing the logic or sense in selling 30k bitcoin at 300, driving the price down and then buying it back up for 200 or whatever. Why not just keep it and help push the price UP?

profit?

if it works he can slowly buy back wtv amount of coins are bought from his wall and have like 1million dollars extra

The progress of this thread towards page 9999 has accelerated massively. I smell manipulation.
