@esse83

I'm a little lost by the time frame of the trade info. Have you just been sitting fiat since then? and don't plan to re-enter yet.

Pretty much. I'm kinda just hanging around until it turns around and presents us an uptrend.. Guess I am conservative. But what Im seeing is not great. So I stay outside until I find an entereance. I wish ever trader luck. I might be wrong about the bottom, but at least I feel confident as an trader when an authentic turnaround comes around. Thats when I get back in Smiley

I hope you do the same.

I'm starting to realize that industrial-level miners competition can only drive the price down. If they are rational (eg: no emotion-fueled home miners), then assuming that even one of the big ones sell as fast as they mine, it became the best (only?) strategy for everyone else to sell as fast as they mine. Until their margin is 0, and then beyond, keep going until the margin is negative. Keep going until the hardware is obsolete, until the capital inflow dry, until investors hire hitmen.

A hitman is the first thing a good investor should hire  Cheesy Cheesy

I blame the forty thieves for the decline ...they come stole all our cheaps Bitcoins and err stuff. (forty thieves-1001 Nights? you with me?)

Talking of which, it looks like a phoenix rising....  of course... there is a high probablility that the stock will decline a fair bit after the IPO and the dust has settled, but at its current projected marketcap after the IPO tomorrow ... they will be bigger than Amazon bigger than Ebay!

and they are not Bitcoin friendly  Angry ..... YET.

Howevas... we may see some short order profit taking from the IPO and some monies returning home to mumma Bitcoin.

I am amazed at how bearish the price is considering how the fundamentals are moving right now.

Feel so sorry for those buying now  Cry wish they understood elementary TA. That shit actually works.. like a broken clock

lol

and yeah keep feeling sorry for everyone who doesn't want to believe you have to make a fortune overnight trading as if you were some fiber optic driven algo trading bot.

You will see that I was right.. not sure what that rest was about HFT.. I just used common sense when trading. Sorry if it turned out to be right.

If you want to talk that game be like Tera, and some others..who have posted the screen shots of their order books, before and after getting filled.. its easy to talk, prove it if you like.

If I missed something you're calling this a bull trap and we've yet to bottom out.. and where is the bottom in your opinion... I'd be interested in seeing 330 get tested what kind crazy volume would occur.. but I've been procrastinating on buying more for a while and today I couldn't resist mind you I decided to buy yesterday
lol all this panic and here I am thinking about how much to deposit at the bank tomorrow

Not to say that you can't make money trading it's just not how I plan to do it currently. To infer common sense would be enough to analyze the trends of this market would be silly on top of everything else.

Never pressented orderbook which seems pointless when facts are starying you in the face. Wouldnt make much differeance to ppl  anyways. I'm not presenting myself as great trader, but some of this shit was obvious.. Did you actually think btc would go to a new ATH... btw if u want me to post it I will do it tomorrow (gf screaming at me to get to bed).

Happy tading Smiley

I don't think its going to an ath tomorrow.. or next week.. but at some point it will, the infrastructure is better suited for a the next wave of people who want bitcoin and .. it may include more speculators which could change the speed in which direction I can't fathom.

The 6 month chart for bid/ask sums on Stamp doesn't look so great. But I ain't scared.  Wink Cheesy Cheesy

The last time the price was at this level, there were:
BFX/Bitstamp only

16m USD in bids
37k BTC in asks

Today:

13m USD in bids
41k BTC in asks

Pretty bleak imo.

Has BFX ever been audited?

Somewhat I guess.. but actually the owner of bitfinex proposed a similar deal that pirateat40 had going on Wink He was also a HUGE supporter of him.

"However, he was also involved in the Bitcoin investment scheme craze that had reached its peak in the Bitcoin community this summer, strongly supporting the (then only suspected) Bitcoin Ponzi scheme operator Pirateat40 in August, stating “now that Pirateat40 closed down his operatations thanks to all the fud that was going on and growing on the forum, I expect everyone that spreads this fud, accused and insulted Pirate and the people that supported him to apologize.” He even tried to open a 2%-per-week investment scheme of his own in September."

Ah well, if that is the case so be it... democracy in action, as in an actual real choice, that would lead to actual something of meaning happening in life/society, not just an illusion, so if they choose no, then so be it... if they choose yes... then war  Cheesy I mean so be it too.

It is good to see some actual democracy in action, that has actual real world ramifications.

I said before and I will say it again... my brain tells me the vote will be NO, but my heart and my gut is not so sure though... either way I think it is going to be close.

Will Scotland cut their noose loose?  Cheesy  not long to find out now!

The rest of the Union should have a say too. It's all very well for Scotland to vote but what if the rest of the union doesn't want them?

Just what the world needs, another 3rd world country.

Isn't balkanization wonderful?

I think they would have some pain for a decade or so... but especially if they started a sovereign wealth fund , further down the line they would actually have been a quite wealthy nation.
