Looks like David may not be getting that early morning call from the Queen.

"David!! absolute fucking twat... you just lost Scotland... how does a PM lose a country? even Tony managed to not lose a country, unless you count Iraq....
I am so fucking mad I just kicked a corgi down the stairs........ twice... Say goodbye to your family.... I am brining back torture in the tower!"

or something along those lines...

"Scotland The Brave"

We'll find out tomorrow morning if this is true or not. Have they bricked it in the polling stations and voted "no"?

This is getting really depressing. A perfect case just happened, for a bull trap to form.. and there is barely any panic buying...

Perhaps I should revise my $350 prediction for <$300... at this rate, that might even be optimistic.

molecular is bang on.

I'd rather this than boredom any day. Merchants are all using bitpay anyway, the volatility should be framed as being a result of people's faith in fiat currency, not in bitcoin. Suddenly, some people seem to forget how awesome bitcoin is.

Yeah, I noticed that as well after I posted it  Smiley
It was a combination with GIMP. I did the "buy" in inkscape because I don't know how to do the hollow text in Gimp.
Cropping and insertion of bitcoin address was done in Gimp.
Both great programs.

Something along the lines of text-to-selection, grow selection, fill selection.

sounds cumbersome.

easier to do the qr-code-insertion in inkscape as well if use of a single tool is the goal, I'd say.

The best part about today is how much CaVirtEx has improved deposit options. Wow via interac getting $500 to my exchange in literally 30 minutes as that was the time it took to get to a bank and deposit money not knowing I could use any of my banks via interac which would meant money on exchange in the time it takes to type out info Cheesy and the fee of $1.50 is better than the $5 old bill payment fee which is now up to $20 but also that money mart bill payment option being free for a limited time seemed inticing as well. However Direct EFT is $5 would be much better when you have a larger amount of fiat to drop on the exchange, seems reasonable to me.

I had to spend the fiat as I was typing this I saw a buy go through on Stamp for 5xx was it and someone on Cavirtex put 1.xx coins for 456.5 ( $13 of the daily low on exchange) so I took em before they responded to stamps buying pressure. Hope it doesn't drop before midnight time so I can do another Interac payment as the daily timer flips over.

Happy market watching all Cheesy

Do not buy into any false recoveries. I've told you this every time, and I'm always right.

Bitcoin is going down down, to the final capitulation.

I hope that wasn't my last chance to buy in the low 400s Sad I should have left more bids! They didn't start getting huge until the 300s.

If only I was patient enough to put little buys in, rather that a big one every $10 drop.

Still, I have more btc than I did this morning Cheesy

Obviously today continues to prove that the people that actually care about bitcoin, are orders of magnitude outnumbered by people who could give 2 shits about bitcoin.

What a great community to be involved in.

I think bitcoin needs these cycles. This is how you distribute coins.
Either we will face complete failure or sooner or later there will be a rebound. Somewhat like  a phoenix rising from the ashes

Not if those same sold coins keep getting bought back up by the people who don't give 2 shits about bitcoin.  Over, and over, and over again.  We can't stop those whose only goal in life is gleefully buying/dumping and buying/dumping some more.  They don't care what the price is, it makes no difference to them.  They will trade if the price is $400 or $4.  And they don't care if no one is left to buy in the end.

Back when the original hodl thread appeared I had to smile.
So far I've sold very little of the few btc I own.  A pizza, some donations. you get the idea.
The regular user is not going to short bitcoin or go leveraged long regularly.
Unless exchanges use fractional reserving these methods will not work indefinitely the way they do now.

That was you?! o_O

I wish. It is interesting the person sold pretty much all of his coins. You'd think most people would stick to some concept of "I'll keep half just in case".
Either way, without these purchases bitcoin would be nowhere. I am grateful for that.

I'm late to the party if you want to call it that. But it does not matter. What is happening now will have such a profound impact on society it will create many new and interesting opportunities.
It is exciting to be part of it.

wow, at the moment i'm pretty happy i went all back into fiat this morning. it has been a hell of a ride today. so i thought we had seen the bottom, but there's always a further way down. Since i went into BTC almost 3 months ago, i've been mainly seeing downwards. Each time you think "this is the bottom", it just goes lower. Feels good to have cut at least some losses (for now). And this thread keeps me entertained in these wild times. So, cheers to cheap coins :]
