Mining equipment generates lots of waste heat, I know... but this is ridiculous:
Quote
[ ... ] chip standard mining machine is constantly developing to advanced circuit, from the initial 110nm, to 55nm, then 40nm, 28nm, and 20nm and subsequent want out 16nm chip, chip beckons Bitcoin high-tech. Mining machine to roast cat, for example, now produced Bitcoin mining machine operator 820G force, power 1000w, priced at 1.04BTC, this price has been close in price now seems normal home computer ...

Jorge to draw an unpleasant metaphor, you're the bum picking up cigarette buts.

"Roast Cat" is friedcat and the tech discussed is this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/block-erupter-tube-sales-information-thread-round4-price-at-1btc-per-ths-735728

The price is now a lot lower than when the article was published.

You're preaching to the choir bro.

Hold On for Dear Life.

Hodl* On for Dear Life.

I like the recursion

cout>>Hodl;

while (BTC_price50)

{cout>> "on for dear life";}

That's not recursion, just a loop.

But it's better to implement it this way... otherwise: stack overflow!

Over the years there have been many indicators that were used to predict a weekend dip.

Most of those would have predicted this weekend to be a dip, but it was not.

I guess the fall of the 3.2k wall make some people optimistic, and that's why we see no dump this weekend.

Who cares about the people? Whale is the only mammal that matters  Cool

I thought the weekend dip myth was laid to rest last year.

Do i pay electric bill or just buy bitcoins instead with the money thats the question. I guess it depends on the price.

If you don't pay your energy bill, sooner or later you won't have a way to verify the BTC price, and maybe no way to sell if/when we go up.

It is something to think about.

DOGE UP and on it´s destined way to beome THE dominant crypto! Sooner or later his little brothers BTC and LTC will follow, don´t you worry!
Bitcoin = Gold
Litecoin = Silver
Dogecoin = USD

Payment processors love dogecoin because it encourages usage unlike bitcoin and litecoin which are horded and not great for there business model. It is almost unrivalled in the cryptoworld with the endless supply and has cheap fees and is fast

Did we ever have in BTC history a battle like this one at 480$ ?

Maybe 1$ (I was not around).

Last thing I can remember is the 100-130$ period but more stretched in time.

From the pre 266$ bubble (and after the 10$) I can't remember anything too..

EDIT: Maybe the 5$ on 2012 and 10$ same period, more stretched in time too

Two whole weeks? Over $490 four days ago?

LOL You trolling/joking again?
Lol no trolling!

I think the battle then was not as dramatic and fluctuated more violently

OK. How about the last 2.5 weeks of Sept last year? An epic battle at $128.

Some people thought we'd achieved the elusive "stability". LOL
This is the closest one I have in mind too

We know how that one ended up.  Smiley
