Haha, trader fail.  Temporarily trading BTC for LTC isn't really dumping BTC at all.   Tongue

Ask sum on Bitstamp is at a record high, bidsum approaching record low.

Here's the BA Ratio versus price at that time:

Current Bid/Ask ratio: 0.600 - $470
Record low Bid/Ask ratio: 0.477 - $117
Record high Bid/Ask ratio: 2.502 - $885

May I ask where you sourced this data; I used to use cryptocoincharts for ratio data but it stopped working a while back (first the Stamp ratio, now the entire site).

Of course, the perma bulls will claim this as being 'meaningless' -- earlier in the year, I recall aminorex insisting the bid/sum ratio is inconsequential.  Funny how numbers become 'useless' when they go the wrong way. Cheesy Cheesy

You might want to look at Bfx where the ratio is the inverse.

1800 coins dumped in big orders on Bfx.

they are only trying to sell their holdings to you!
And you only trying to buy my holding cheaper

/ignore

I trying to help people here, I don't care about buying back. Until I see a strong indicator that the bear market is over, or some new innovation is in development, I am out! I have been out since July, when price was still >$600.

For weeks I have warned you all about a price floor collapse, and people have scoffed and abused me. Some asked my help, and I provided it. Now they have cut their loose, and they will be OK. Don't listen to the echo chamber... market fundamentals have changed since 2013 and bitcoin is no longer a major player in the mobile payments market!

If you're trying to help people to do the same as you you make them lose real value, until you sold your BTC you never lost real value.

I bought coins above $600 and below and I'm buying even more at these prices, the lower the price goes the better.

Don't sell your coins at a loss.

It is easy to see high volatility in Bitcoin due to its limited volume, nothing to be excited about, but the fact is it is steadily increasing in pricing and more and more interested being generated shows that it is the sole crypto coin under consideration.
