@theshmadz
So does the fact that our ATH has been a bit delayed mean that when we finally do have the next bubble it will be even bigger than we even expected or dreamed!?  Perhaps this is a good thing in the long run?  I am just trying to console myself with this thought.

Maybe this waiting process is just . . .

As low as possible for as long as possible.
...
I'm mostly worried about the people I was trying to get into bitcoin when it was ten bucks, then again at 100 and of course they don't want to because now it's too expensive.

But I can see their side, if it looks like a scam and it smells like a scam, then it's probably a scam.

When people begin to realize that it's not a scam, and that they missed out on an opportunity, then they get angry. I'm hoping a slow, gradual rise in price will give these people the time they need so that they don't feel cheated.

Could someone please define the moon for me? Are we talking $1,000 $10,000 $100,000 I mean those who bought at $10 and cashed at $1,000 could say they've already been to the moon? I'm just curious what everyone's version of the moon is.

Maybe a new poll; what price do you consider to be the moon?

Strongly waiting for 7777. Christine Lagarde will post trains and rockets live@bitcointalk
yes, but 7+7+7+4=25 and 2+5=7 so also 7774 could get us to the moon, and beyond.
Exciting, just one more page!

We should have already learned from yesterday that recently linking BTC prices to this thread's page count only encourages brats like you, and other post dumpers to attempt to manipulate the page count by deleting posts....   Why encourage such childness and irresposibility, especially since we are now getting back into the 7777 territory.. which as I asserted earlier, IS INEVITABLE.

LMAO. You are writing into the Troll Observer. The thread where 1000 of 7700+ pages are fulfilled with rockets. Where people (seriously) mean, if there will be no bubble within a 12 months cycle bitcoin will be broken. Where people (seriously) talking about super-exponential growth, meaning a value about 1,000,000$ in 2014. And where people are taking a page count as serious business (that's you) and so on, so on....

...and you're claiming for adolescence? What a funky guy you are!?  Grin

I think you missed the sarcasm, you should know by now.

Maybe, but I'm not so sure, that it was sarcasm  Cheesy

GO AHEAD - Dump3er, build up your post count... you are up to 14 now.. so you can dump again.. but you are certainly running out of ammunition, and I would think that your immature post-dumping compatriots are running out of ammunition as well.... ONLY so many posters are going to take such post-dumping measures... and personally, I could care less if this thread reaches 7777 pages by today or a month from now, pages can be dumped for ONLY so long... and the number of pages in this thread has little to NO correlation with bitcoin prices, even though some childish posters decided to attempt to inspire a mutiny of sorts and to consolidate their post dumping powers.

IN other words:    CCMF !!!!!!!!   1111

Thanks, now I'm sure, it's sarcasm  Grin Thanks for the laugh

I bought a couple. Also have buys at $589, $585, and $575 if we go below $575 I'll wait for $500 coins. If not I'll be happy to have caught somewhere near bottom.

It seems very possible that BTC prices could break $575 an go as low as $550 without coming anywhere near $500.  Going to $500 is the next level of negativity that seems considerably unlikely absent some meaningful negative news.

Something like:
At what page count do you think the bubble will start.
7772
7777
8000
8888
And so on.

Trolls and tea party advocates seem to possess considerable skills to turn the tables and to accuse their opponents with the exact behavior in which they are engaging.  I applaud you for such.

Good strategy, but I don't think we will touch 575, may be if you are really lucky you will get 585 bid coin, but not lower then that.

There wont be another giant bubble. There will be steady rise with the occasional outbreak. People will start to unterstand the Bitcoin thing for what it is, a intangible good, the same as your shoe as a tangible good, which cost x amount to make plus margins and profits and everything else to go with a product. If the profit mining it is very big others will join. Proof of work is what it says it is, a proof that x amount of work has been done which can be sent to anywhere in the world for little cost. When you paint a house you can proof the work has been done, but you will find it hard to exchange it with some one on the other side of the globe.

But that is what many said before the last bubble.  I don't think we should ever say that something "won't" happen in regards to bitcoin.  It always surprises us. Wink

he who has the gold makes the rules
I think we need to stop making Bitcoin mainstream and start catering to the underworld. Want to dodge taxes on your illegal moonshine so that you can make money to order some crack cocaine online... we want you (to be Mayor of Toronto). This is mostly a joke, but honestly, we were doing a hell of a lot better before all of these classy, sophisticated, Wall Street types got involved and told us how they were going to revolutionize blah de blah blah. In a nutshell, a lot of these "legitimate" sources are actually just looters whereas previously we had a true focus on niche commerce. I mean, who the hell is excited over a 3% discount on gift certificates (and the prospects of buying gift certificates you didn't even want) or a 5% discount on this or that good but only if you buy from the official vendor (translate as 50% marked up). Why the hell did we allow ourselves to be co-opted by the man?

phuck Wall Street, go system D! The future is underground, asset protection, and private property

Nicely spotted!

Now get your shit together and haul your ass over here, private!

well Wall Street bankers and hedge fund employees do have an insatiable need for cocaine... duh... and well going to the bank to withdraw a few thousand $ for a week of working 80+ hours looks a little suspicious...

We are not delayed. We are right on track. Could take another month to start the next bubble
