many of the coins that were bought in this run are probably no longer subject to panic selling, as whales withdraw for long term holding.

Woke up with a sell order having gone through on Kraken, not buying back in until I see a few green candles on the hour views to be safe.
Any reason people dumped, aside from it being a correction as we've gone up too fast?

Well, I thought we were heading a bit lower then 570 on this dump but looks like we aren't and my guess is we will consolidate here and move up later
I posted a few days ago that we were not gonna break $600 without a downside first, simply because we've been moving too fucking fast these last days(very bullish i believe though). edit:On second thought, this fast upwards movement could also be because of a longer bearmarket compared to the 2013 bearmarket

The bull markets make me more nervous than the bear ones even though I'm a hodler. If we carry on like we have been, it'll be ATH in about 2 weeks. That's MENTAL.
I would give us less than a 2% chance of an ATH in 2 weeks. I would gladly be wrong though. What I like about this latest surge is that it is growing incrementally, and then flattening out for a bit before going up some more. When it shoots straight up, it usually corrects right back down a decent amount.
Very true. That is a much healthier thing to witness. Though it always loses its shit eventually and jumps like 40% in a day
I remember the first time we hit edit: Anyone remember that 10k wall immediately after we passed 266 last Nov? I still wanna know why someone would do that?

still don't understand why someone would do that, though. Historically once ATH has been broken, several 100% of gains followed before a correction.

Let's stop with this myth. People have been saying this since day 1. If this was true there wouldn't be any weak hands anymore.
Weak hands are selling to other weak hands. This will never change. There will always be weak hands.
There will always be weak hands. But if they are buying now, when someone else is selling, then they are obviously strongER hands.
