Is the Bitstamp (585) - BTC-E (568) divergence telling us something we need to know?

based on the 2 previous bubbles.

Only the last 2?

If we are talking about the exact optimal sell point being when the exchange rate is +0.4...+0.45 log points above the exponential trendprice of the date, yes.

(The previous great bubble of 6/2011 became so quickly after the listing of Bitcoin that the exponential trendlines did not yet give reliable signals.)
By the way, as i said on this thread (middle of page 1) https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/18-mar-data-a-bitcoin-price-theory-441336 , i believe that you should consider a progressive growth of trend and that most models like yours undervalue the price. Which means in my opinion it is even more a time to buy than you think. But i already bought the maximum i could in the 400-450$ area so i can just enjoy the profits and the flawed thinking of Jorge.

getting back to $1000 will not be a 10th of how hard it was to get there in the first place.

I don't get all the excitement about such a small price rise. This valuation is still only 1% of what it needs to be...
I'm not sure I'd call +$100 in less than a week "a small price rise"...

What makes a significant rise cannot be measured nominally.

Bitcoin has now risen 50% since its last bottom and approx 25% in a week, most of which happening in the last couple days.
People are getting excited because this is sending very strong buy signals to the market.

Couldn't it be the miner hardware manufacturers that manipulate the prices ? because of the customer's anger ( forums ) waiting for the delivery of they expensive orders with no refund allow, while difficulty increase and BTC prices ( was ) decrease ?
