You're pretending to love it, so you could pretend confidence with the price going up. It's been like that for months, with the "most enthusiastic of the enthusiasts" always so certain that now is the time when the price will go up. It seems like they have bought very high, because they seem kind of desperate for the price to go up. I hope that they didn't loan money to buy bitcoins.

no, we genuinely LOVE it. do you know how sentiment works?

we are at a classic bottom. the worst news possible came the other day, yet the market couldnt carve out new lows.

the bears are spent. the worst is over.

Yes I have a leverage long position from 450 and Im not letting go.

oh deary me.  Cheesy

Might as well just write China off and move on. I did that last year before Christmas. Chinese government don't want bitcoin, it is very obvious indeed. The Chinese government will get what they want, you can be certain of that.

I don't agree. We're not in the 80's. Now, the population has the means to get what they want. It's easy now to be anonymous on the internet and do anything the government would not want you to do (TOR).
Especially if it means profiting from the global phenomenum with huge potential that is Bitcoin.

You may write-off the chinese government, but the population should not be written-off.

Yes but when trading you cant just write it off if its still dictating the price..

I think people are trading/selling because of fear

no fear. we are not there yet.

I see constant selling pressure with big asks on stamp. also, every single time the price starts moving up, I see ask side reloaded and rebuilt with a lot of coins in no time.

things you own end up owning you
I think people are trading/selling because of fear, only a small fart from China is needed to bring the price down, I am getting sick of watching the price, I think people will still panic because of the uncertainty, no matter what others will tell them....

it is just humans being humans, I will guess that we will trade in a down trend waves through mid-end of April, just then people get confidence back, unless some official statement from the central bank from china will be released.... what will be the low? I have no idea!!! looking at market sentiment I would say we will go lower than 400....

I just find it infinitely amusing how people got themselves into denial the whole time that it ws just "rumors". With quotation marks. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
If its more than rumours why is there no confirmation after nearly a week? Coins are still worth more than they where two days ago so I'd say we've left the panic phase behind.

We've definitely not left panic behind. People are gambling while waiting for full confirmation, just as I gambled but as we saw with both bter and btc38 news, people go to panic mode immediately.

Panic would be even bigger if btcchina, huobi and okcoin would confirm. Market is unfortunately under mercy of China and each fart from over there causes panic.

Buying time for more dumps.  Why did gox remain silent till the end?  To lure more people to buy cheap coins.

You can tell as much from what people aren't saying as from what they are. The fact that the exchanges aren't speaking up to deny it strongly implies that the rumours are true, and they are all scrabbling around behind the scenes to try and find some kind of workaround before they make any announcements.

In fact, I'm just angry because I bought targeting 1000$ profit for today, went sleep when it was like 2pm in China thinking it's too late for any bad news, price went around my selling point while I was sleeping and just like yesterday I woke up hour or two too late  Angry

That's why I am angry  Grin
