Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
It gives me a strange feeling that a big market like this follows the same pattern every cycle.
Don't get too over taken by your "strange feelings" because there are differences in the pattern each time, even if you want to suggest that it is all the same and blah blah blah.. spin nonsense.

My feeling is that the longer we stay here, the bigger the coming change in direction will be. UP/DOWN?
Long periods of stability have typically lead to up in the long term. Things are a bit weird now though. Next halvening is predicted for March 2024 so a long time until things start getting interesting unless external events drive things.

For sure, it is not easy to have a whole hell of a lot of confidence in knowing specifics.. een though we know that there remains ongoing and continuing upwards price pressures on BTC, even if it might take a few more years of flat (or some variation of that) before it works itself out..

To me, this story is inspiring:
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/this-musician-retired-after-making-170-million-in-the-stock-market-now-hes-sharing-his-secrets-11666293074
TL;DR Musician on a relatively modest salary makes a lot on investments (over 40 years), now he is old and sick at 85 (started investing in his 40ies), but donated more than $105 mil to clinics, universities, schools, etc.
Is that what you are going to do when your 20 BTC are worth $200 million.. ?  Maybe 10 years, but maybe longer than that?  Gosh can we expect to live until we are 85 years old?   Hopefully we can spend some of it along the way... and we might not need to accumulate that much.. I mean it might be o.k. to just start to draw from your bitcoin when your stash is around $2million to $10 million rather than waiting until it is worth $200 million.. at least seems to me.

There seem to be pretty solid strategies that any of us should be able to employ in order to not worry about drawing from our BTC along the way  and still be able to continue to allow our BTC to grow too....
Yeah...maybe. Sounds like an interesting goal to pursue.

Gotta give you credit (this time) for at least acknowledging my ongoing pursuit of you...

hahahahahaha

and yes.. the different ideas sometimes will merge and sometimes they will be distinguishable.. and frequently individual variance might end up being the main factor..so then there still can be some questions about how to present the ideas and how are we going to consider our audience and how to figure out which kinds of practices might be personally tailored and what kinds of practices might end up being individually tailored in such a way that they are quite a bit different from a more common perspective (or approach).

With inflation (USD and other world currencies) like it is, we've actually been in slow decline for a while.

Glass half full.

Have you been hanging out with Biodom?**

"Helium shortage: Doctors are worried that running out of the element could threaten MRIs ..."

Now we had helium filled hdds for quite a few years while knowing eventually we won't be able to build new MRI's

WTF

or is it bs and liquid nitrogen would work as it is around -340f vs liquid helium which is around -450f

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOy8Xjaa_o8

Long story short, don't start worrying yet.

Liquid N2 doesn't work for the superconductors used in MRIs though there's constant work on higher-temperature superconductors. Liquid N2 is used to help insulate the liquid helium as it's a whole lot cheaper (cheaper than milk I was told and probably even moreso now).
