A decent movie I saw last week at home was The Outfit with Mark Rylance. Worth a watch if you like the sort of Alfred Hitchcock stuff.

Interestingly, I also watched it last night, very nice acting and NO 'special effects' for a change.
I liked Mark Rylance acting in the Wolf Hall show where he brilliantly plays Thomas Cromwell (chief minister for Henry VIII), from 1520-30ies.

I'm a bit curious what the alteration was.

afaik that is a operational model still under manufacture and is currently deployed in multiple regions of conflict....unaltered by me in anyway

#haikuSunday

Feel a disturbance
In the force, is that bitcoin?
A rock breaking waves

Do you hear silence?
It's WO's trying to haiku
In need of practice

What drives a hodler
It must be something deeper
Than just stacking sats

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.

The problem is not with Bitcoin using energy. Your oven uses energy, your lights use energy, your phone uses energy. The problem is that people are pointing fingers at Bitcoin even though the problem is how our energy is generated. People do not want to talk about that. Pointing fingers is easier.

Twitter and google look totally crap. I know that time was the best and now we can compare how much we have made progress in the last 20 years. I do not think no civilization has made progress that fast in the history of mankind.

Financial freedom is not new but has been reintroduced to us by satoshi and his concept of electronic money.

Another one I would recommend is Nightmare Alley (2021), by director Guillermo del Toro. Worth a watch.

I'll check it out, I wouldn't watch it from the initial premise so should be interesting to see if I like it.

I wouldn't have watched it either. I was pleasantly surprised.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Bit of a boring time with the economic doom and gloom.

Also, remarkably little in the cinema to distract.

Thought about going to see Halloween Ends. Then I read a few reviews and that put me right off.

I feel sad for the cinema chains with the utter tripe they are putting out at the moment.

Yeah that was a good flick, it was mentioned here earlier this year.
