Who panic bought?? Grin
I didn't panic buy; I made the preplanned decision to buy when the downtrend broke.

wow, for 3 days nobody dumps at 550 $, and thats a downtrend broke.

so naive to think that.
This is exactly what I thought during the recovery in 2013. "It's only going up because nobody is dumping". All the way from $66 to $200. I have told myself many times now to ignore that thought. The lack of dumping indicates some change in supply in the background which you can't understand.

no changes in supply, new 3600 coins hit the market every day.

You could have. I just didn't realize the deal would only last 6 hours.

things you own end up owning you
to be honest, I bought back, I lost few % on fees and price difference from my selling point at $570, sent coins to my wallet and I will have a break from trading for few weeks Wink

Er... I did a fair bit.  Had far too much fiat sitting at 450-550 waiting for dumps that don't look like coming too soon.

I was over 40% fiat - too much right now.

Now in 75% - Gox is as bad as everyone feared and the coins are gone, not destroyed, so are probably already in the market.

That is worst case scenario, and we are not crashing.    Gox seems over now.

Time to move on.

we're nowhere near downtrend break, we're 5% over where we were some 12 hours ago and there's barely 1500 BTC to that point.

But that whale buying 6k coins definitely makes one to think if something is about to happen. I felt much more comfortable before that.

BEWARE of the possible, probable impending mega dump!!

You need to re-assess, Mark Karpeles and the blatant manipulation have left the building. These are serious buyers, the UK news is huge, investment money will start pouring in.

By the way, by UK, I mean United Kingdom treating bitcoin as a currency for tax purposes and scrapping VAT on Bitcoin. Not Ukraine, which although is pretty awful for those in the UKraine, Europe has become very good at containing conflict, it would be different if they were already in the EU, then we would be in serious trouble, but I don't think Putin would have risked that.

You spoke too soon my friend!

Why? What happened, hopefully nothing in Ukraine, my news has nothing but the Pistorius trial.

I see you have plenty of posts so i'm assuming you have traded for some time, so you know it's a natural part of trading to pull back before next leg up.

I've been wanting to say this since Xmas - HODL!!! Cheesy

(btw for new traders, if you feel those panicky feelings rising, leave the room for 5 mins, whether we're going up or down we generally retrace around 31-61% after a large move - if you sit on your hands and wait you can buy / sell at a better price).

This is just the exchanges drumming up a bit of extra trade as the volumes have been a little on the low side recently.  Grin

My bears friends, don't get too excited. He got 3k walls eaten earlier at 570, I went to sleep just to wake up 3 hours later at 30$ up and another 3k wall.
