Feels more like intentional manipulation.  he's bailing each time only selling a small amount.   Obviously he is failing at his task.  10K coins isn't enough lad.
Roll Eyes You clearly dont understand how markets work. That doesnt even make sense, "bailing"? From what? Once an order is placed, it finishes. He cant remove a wall halfway thru an order, and even so... if someone bought 1k, it doesnt go 1-2-3-4-5-6... etc to 1000, its an instant 1000 buy, he cant prevent it.

The "flashing wall" is a bitcoinity glitch. The wall is not being moved, at all. (Except for the initial $5 reduction)

I can recall times when that wall would cause more panic.

Only the yanks are awake. Europe sleeps and traders let their bots do the talking. Sell-offs will normally not be triggered until price dictates.

I am awake cos I have a short position open and if their is a landslide panic sell-off, I intend to be here to pull the trigger and capitalise to the max.

4am where I am. 5am and 6am for the rest of Europe.

I don't know, it's still there on Bitstamp.
It keeps flashing in and out. Strange. Now it's back.

That's whale sonar telling others to pile on.

Its being pulled and re-posted, unless bitcoinity is glitching.

He has already pulled it once.

His first sell order was 10K at 595.18.

Then it disappeared, and reappeared at Bitstamp spot. He appears to be using Bitstamp's 'Simple' sell option which puts in limit order at spot.

As I and someone else has said already, probably Chinese and having problems navigating the interface on Bitstamp.

1,000% he is chinese.   He just pasted back the ~10K btc sell in bitstamp but in Huobi prices (~8400)

Obviously a mistake, must have thought he was on huobi

This one is serious. 400 BTC taken from it and he stands firm.

Why does my bitcointy chart show he withdrew his sell bid?

Bitcoinity is a buggy turd. Always check with reliable sites first. For mtgox, that is trading.i286.org,

and for bistamp.. its bitstamp.net -> View Order Book.
