Gox wants to break out, but keeps getting slammed by +100 BTC sells, lol.

there people must be really cheesed, and scared. Think about it, first to announce the problem last to fix it lol.

Stopping USD, SEPA and JPY withdrawals wasn't enough of a hint I guess.

SEPA was not stopped.

I spent THREE MONTHS trying to get my fiat out of poxy Gox through SEPA and gave up in the end, had the cash returned to my account and bought bitcoin (at a 20% loss), which I then withdrew,  in order to get out of the place.
 Just in time too.

it just hinders the amount of fiat they can move, I am sure they're still in litigation over the seized us accounts

Must suck for all those idiots to sell at 310 and then panic buy back in at 350. And the funny thing is they will do it again. And again.

This Gox premium is ridiculous. Gox coins are trading for $350 more than they're worth.

the problem is:

sheep sellers on gox are idiots because the sell-bot will stop at some point and price shoots back up in seconds.

buyers are idiots too, because the bot is selling anyway into their walls.

I am just hodling in this situation.

Howeve, if the "oldest and most prestigious" exchange fails, it will probably be all over the mainstream news media, and will scare more potential investors away from bitcoin.  Since I believe that bitcoin is a terrible investment, I think that will be a good thing; but it will depress the price even further over the next few weeks.

So cheerful I love it.

Ok I bought at 646.  Time to go up.  Lets see if I get plastered on this one  Cheesy

Well that didn't go so well.  Wasn't watching the market the last hour or so then looked at the screen, got a surprise and got straight back off again at 646.

Lol.  Thank god it's BFX so the fees are tiny.

You are in the wrong mindset. In a year's time it won't matter if you got on at 646, 570, 720, or even 850. It'll all look almost the same. Get on whenever you have fiat.

Take it from my experience, if you try to get on and off looking for the lowest price, you'll either be left behind when the next upward correction starts, or will slowly bleed away on fees.

I really dont understand why people say this... of course it mattes at what price you buy in at unless you dollar cost average.

Say I have 10k to invest if I buy in at 646 I get 15.4BTC.
If I buy in at 850 I get 11.7

If BTC gets to a conservative 10k each then in the first case I have 154k and in the second case I have 117k. Quite a difference!!

It stays the same as well for every factor you go up.
