you eat meat everyday, what are you afraid of?
I also ask this question when people get scared by killed animals / dead animal corpses.
Unfortunately I will never understand why people can eat animals but never want to see the ugly side of eating meat.

where does the op say anything about rotten or roadkill style meats?
I've watched a cow get slaughtered from live to packed in to a box, and it was not pretty but I watched cause I thought I should be aware of what makes that steak dinner possible.
edit: then I applied that thought process to Mc Donalds requirements of meat and the amount of slaughtering done on their behalf lol. I can admit I've never seen a large industrial meat processing plant, this was a family farm style event.
