There is a certain degree of randomness to this calculation because it is based on a rolling average of the past X blocks,
This could also be the reason it peaked to 42 % in the first place.
edit: Nameless, I know you're one of the few people here who, like me, won't sacrifice money for ideology or wants.

Are you hoping for 2011 style and a rise once again in the future?I just ready myself psychologically. Many people here don't want to do this and prefer to dwell in their delusions until inevitably, they are shattered. That is fine too.

Is GHash.IO primarily independent miners pointing their hashpower this way, or is mostly internal to GHash (e.g., hardware at cex.io, etc)?
bothHmm, I understand GHash does merged mining with alt coins and is thus more appealing to some miners. But I wonder why more aren't moving to Elegius or another smaller pool giving the current situation and potential (temporary) loss of confidence should something "funny" happen. Is this a "tragedy of the commons" or is it a case of "meh, whatever"?
it also has 0% commission and it is private

There is a certain degree of randomness to this calculation because it is based on a rolling average of the past X blocks, so you would have to watch longer term. I'm sure a few people moved over, but as long as the underlying conditions that caused this pool to grow so much do not change, it will likely continue to grow once this reddit flurry is over.Basically: If it loses 5-10% now, do you really think this won't happen again?
