Good thing about this is that now we can concentrate on promoting and earning BTC now. Trading becomes more and more difficult. First Mt. Gox and then BTCChina. What's the next?

What's wrong with BTCChina?

It may be interesting to guess why Chinese exchanges stop 0 trading fee policy.

1) grab some money before closing

2) requirement from the government

if 1, that's really bad sign. If 2, it is not so bad.

oh its bad look what price did / is doing.

market data speaks volumes

but its not the end of bitcoin

BTCCHINA was probably mostly american day traders looking to play with 0% fees anyway

I think we may all end up visiting Risto's promised land at 500...

Quite possibly.

Feels like the price is being propped up to obviously aquire coins but also to keep the larger investors happy.
Not sure we will see Risto's nirvana.

And Gox refusing to play along.

Gox and Stamp are not refusing. There are some very big Players on Stamp, Gox and BTChina that are trying to stabilize the price. They are eating thousands of coins...

This is not like the dumps of old... Stacks of coins eaten up by the big players. Gonna make it harder to choose a re-entry point.

I think it's better than not. If Gox and Stamp would follow China it could be possible to encouter the two digits area. China is nearly dead.

Always verify deals with me through my public key!
Is it wrong that I am more comfortable on the way down than I was on the way up....

Haha I've had that feeling before. It's like when it's going up there is the pressure of "should I sell" and "wow I'm making a lot of money". Then on the way down its like ok I can buy more, I just need to sit tight and not do anything. I'd be interested in the psychology of it.

Yep, nail on the head, only I was selling and losing coins on the way up.....every time a rapid ath, every time an expensive but worthwhile lesson. Going down is now a chance to capitalise with new knowledge.

Btw....where's Rpetilia, you think he'd be waving his bear around the place by now....

Anyone that can read Chinese, what does the yellow sticky note on OKCoin.com say?  That's new I think.  Its an image and I can't translate it.
A notice that 0 trading fee policy is stopped.

Gracias.

No. Because I think many of us realized deep down inside that this market could never go to new ATHs until we had a purge.

This rally put Bitcoin squarely in the eye of governments, banks and regulators. And the weight of their opinions is bringing the market back down. Next time we go up we should have institutional money behind us and it will be a whole new ballgame.
