No problem, in North America at least, there has come a tradition of sales on this day and it is one of the busiest shopping days of the year in preparation for the Abrahamic consumption orgy of Christmas

Why should someone pick this name, please?

http://www.bitcoinblackfriday.com/

the last Friday in November is generally regarded as the day whereabouts retailers will have covered all their operating expenses for the year.  In book keeping language they are "in the black" and any remaining sales for the year will be profit.  Hence "black Friday"
Ah, I see. Thank you very much jojo69.
I associated other things with this name.

Media exposure is huge this time.

Big indeed. This time we go mainstream for real, baby.

5 digits by next year.

I can't tell if you are trolling, really.

Bitcoin has gone up 10x every 10 months and 100x in the last 10 months.  Why would he be trolling about 5 digits by one year from today?

I remain excited about BTC hitting $1000 but Litecoin is still burning up the charts.  Since breaking $1000, Bitcoin hasen't done much.  In 12 hours, Litecoin is up from ~$20 to $37.  Come on Bitcoin bulls, you're falling behind.   Grin

On the Litecoin side, not going to end well once some big holders decide to take profits. I get the feeling everyone is just buying LTC because it's going up so fast and potentially increase their BTC holdings.

Maybe I'm wrong. I'm a huge fan of LTC but nothing really warrants this increase right now.

Sounds similar to what many have said about Bitcoin but it's true, that risk always remains.  Overall all I think it shows the sheer power of Bitcoin.  It's bringing in money to all corners of the crypto-world and that only strengthens Bitcoin's foundation and position, IMO.

As for $100k trades...I trade BTC-e.  $100k walls are getting more and more common.  A buy or sell wall could get filled but a $100k buy or dump would be tough without tremendous slippage.

As with Bitcoin, I'm always hoping for a big correction, so I can get more coins.  Want to help a brother out with that Goat?   Wink

Think we've got two choices, either an mBit should be called a Mythili or we should change the designation and call it a jBit - a Jinyoung, otherwise known as a J.

Why aren't businesses adopting bitcoin payments like crazy? we really should start with this now. Amazon, get on with it. We have to make this sustainable and not reliable on the fragile human psychology.

Because its still actually shit as a simple currency. Check reddit story of guy who buys a burito and has to wait an hour for confirmations, ends up paying them fiat aswell just to get home.

Uh, 0-confirm transactions are just fine for small purchases. Vendors need to get on with the program.

Yep. 4-6 confirmations are what exchanges wait for when transferring millions of dollars. Who gives a shit when it's a $1 coffee?

Also, have there ever ACTUALLY been any successful double spends (by that I mean someone lost their money/product)? I hear that they're possible and all, but I've never heard of someone doing one.

Good point, imagine trying to do a double spend at a coffee shop? If mainstream adoption occurs and some idiot does manage to do it then it basically becomes fraud/theft.

Will someone explain what the Two lines forming the "V" shape represent?  And what is the green squiggly line in between the two halfs of the "V" that is sometimes there?  Is this bid/ask or buy/sell and the green line represents liquidity & volume?

What is the "Wall"?  Is it a ratio of some sorts?  Allows prediction of movement?

Thank you

Very impressive.
Bitcoin is doing a lot but percentage wise, LTE is blowing it. Let's see if LTE rise continues without big correction.
