Space tech porn, indeed, but I think you meant extremely high Signal-to-Noise Ratio (or I'm still drunk, as Jay would say...).

Of fucking course, mate  Shocked
I had a busy afternoon and that what it looks like afterwards  Roll Eyes
Thanks for pointing out my mistake  Cool

Not a problem. High, low, anyone who knows what SNR is will understand exactly what you meant. Just pointed out the semantics.

Observation:

Nocoiners, lowcoiners, shitcoiners, mindrusters, et al., are usually the ones that talk too much*, directly or indirectly bashing Bitcoin, insinuating its destruction, and posting smartass funny comments about it, perhaps subconsciously trying to amuse themselves and ease the incoming pain they're all going to have to take. And that's a lot of pain. We're talking PAIN... The thick, flaky, rusty pipe kind of pain...

The HoDLers just chill, relax and patiently wait for the inevitable mega-UPpity, while stacking sats whenever they can. They know their coins are precious and would not part with them no matter what.

Life's good.

HoDL.

* I must exclude Jay, who always talks a lot (and is a HoDLer--and has something to say--most of the time--#no-homo, you fuck!)

Edit: Just for the record, death_wish is also excluded. And by "talk too much" I don't just mean long posts, but many posts. They know who they are, and they will soon feel the pain. The rusty pipe, train-in-your-ass kind of pain...

EDIT: Tonight i am going to make a 300mm "closeup" from a section near the galaxy core, which i made out on one of my recent widefield milky way shots. Fully automated 90x1 minute exposures. I just need to set an alarm clock to switch off the mount after the last shot or my lens will kiss my tripod in the early morning hours, in a rather destructive way. There's a little moonlight until about midnight, but that should be OK. If it turns out in a nice photograph, i'm going to post it here.

The only good thing about the pound dying against the Dollar is that it is also dying against BTC.

At first glance I thought 1 bitcoin is now 16,917 $, thanks CMC for correcting my mistake.

*edit(): And it is clearly they will not be using BTCiTcoin. That behemoth needs at least 500+ GB of space just to have custody. But they might have a QR code with a off-site custory wallet in some remote place. But I do not physically imagine this happening. Too many people will be wanting to use it in the same time and outrageous fees and block-ages.   Cool   Cool

If only there were a viable solution..... Wink

No doubt about the resolution, but what struck me the most (in a positive way) is the extremely low Signal-To-Noise ratio!
Maybe it's gone through higher order background- and noise-removal algorithms, compared to the left shot, which looks very much magnified and sports a much lower optical resolution.
The eight-star pattern on the lights is beautiful (given by physcial construction of the scope).

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
What is "crypto?"  Does it have some kind of relationship to my lil precious?

crypto-
/ˈkrɪptəʊ/

Definition:

Crypto is the short form for cryptocurrency. Its what the cool retarded dumb fuck kids call Bitcoin because it sounds cooler and they don't seem to know the difference because they really do not even know what bitcoin is. Unfortunately this also leads to them buying fake scam coins which are not Bitcoin because they either believed or they were deceived into believing (shitcoins are marketed that way on purpose by scammers) that those shitty scams coins were actually superior to bitcoin in one way or another including but not limited to pumpamentals (and young people can be more gullible in several ways.. not that older people cannot be gullible, too).

Here.. I fixed that for you in order to make it more clear what you had been trying to say.

It seems to me that we should not be striving for either ambiguity on this crypto/shitcoin topic or to tolerate the facilitation of confusion and/or to encourage peeps not to educate their dumb (perhaps gullible) lil selfies (not even excluding the proclivities of yours truly from this camp) about the difference between bitcoin and shitcoins.. and to actually learn about bitcoin first.. in order that they (we) might be able to better understand and/or appreciate the difference.

My stonks finally went down significantly, I'm having a bad week. I'm not worried long term (blue chips, and they didn't increase madly like in the US, so they shouldn't crash bigly either) but it will change my life plans for a time. Looking at a cheap house I can get with the smallest down payment possible, instead of the best house I could buy selling the stonks...

I have gotten inspiration from my BTC trading and put ladders to buy stonks if they go down more. Not huge amounts but so I feel good when the price recovers, that I have gotten some cheap stonks along with some cheap coins.

That escalated quickly.
United States-based cryptocurrency mining firm Core Scientific sold more than 7,000 [Bitcoin] in June to pay for servers, increase its data capacity, and settle debts.

In a Tuesday announcement, Core Scientific said it had sold roughly $167 million worth of Bitcoin (BTC) in June at an average price of $23,000 — 7,202 BTC. The sale left the firm with 1,959 BTC — roughly 21% of its holdings — and $132 million in cash as of June 30, a more than 75% drop when compared with its reported 8,058 BTC holdings as of May 31.

Howdy WO, long time no see. Bitcoin just gave Capitulation Signal again on Daily Timeframe.

On 10th June, I made this post: Bitcoin Hash Ribbons Capitulation Alert!
Where I told everyone about the Capitulation Signal by Bitcoin, and since then, we are almost 40% down.

Today, Bitcoin has made another capitulation signal on Daily Timeframe:
