Bitcent sounds more intuitive to me to describe 0.001 bitcoin.

Getting back off-topic: we do need a friendlier name for mBTC: millibitcoin sounds so clunky and jargonistic.

Bitmill?

Maybe just a 'bit'? 1 Bitcoin= 1,000 bits perhaps. 3 bits for a coffee.

What is with those weird big dump/buy patterns going on every so often?  Is that just someone strategically clearing around the strike price?

I've been wondering, too.

Attempts to trigger stops? Attempts to stop downward trend? rpietila?

I don't know. comments?

Maybe someone wants to avoid panic, but still want to proice to go down. Just not too fast - controlled demolition

Just 2 occurences? Wait for more to call controlled demolition. But the similarities are intriguing

I think we're going to a bear market, that is my feeling reading the forum.
I think it could be roughly similar to the sell of last summer. It dropped down, climbed up, and then wavered around for months before finally climbing again in November/December.

Yes. It doesn't seem like a fast dip. Maybe faster, but slow anyway. Probably climbing in the Summer, if there isn't any big news that promotes another rally before...
It's the weekend anyway, so almost not volume, not entry of new money, and the typical small dip.. So just speculating small talk.  Grin

As far as I'm concerned I'd love if it would bounce between 120-135 each few hours forever Smiley

Nothing better than sell 10-15$ above the price you bought, it's each lazy man's dream Smiley

The Wildlings are going to attack The Wall ...

Forgive me ... I will try and stay on topic, but G of T is such a compelling analogy right now

Most likely? Bad/emotional traders. But also a possibility is that they think they can turn things around by buying at market following a large sell, yielding them profit.

hmm. rich trading noob(s) too lazy to put limit order? It's possible.

Bitcoin winter is coming

lol good one. And yeah pretty much...

Ugh I'm so annoyed with the constant drop the past 3 days. I get that we can't just go up all the time but I thought we were doing great at 150 earlier in the week.
