We are pretty close to being able to declare that model as broken.  It can still end up valid from here, but at this point that is in the very unlikely category.

Mr Plan seems to have already "updated" his model to a 55k average  Grin

The stonk market right now feels exactly like it did around October 2011.

In the spring and summer leading up to 10/2011 there had been a huge rally with the S&P 500 reaching new ATHs.

Then came the crash starting around July 2011.

Once the bottom of market was reached in October, I distinctly remember the fear in the MSM that the market had much further to fall. At least back to July 2010 levels.

It never did.

The stonk market climbed a wall of worry to reach new ATHs by Feb 2012 and never looked back.

Moral of the story: When the MSM starts chanting that the market is going much lower, it probably won't.

Well we are still in the 28.8k to 69.8k slot barely.

Wow I woke up proudhon and the greatest bullish statement he has made since 2012.

Is this the end of btc?

At least I got my solar array approvals this week.

my power cost dropped bigly.

this is so 2018.

I found out the secret how proudhon used to calculate bitcoin price before...

But now I guess he/she using some new logic.

I trust him fully with my money. No questions asked.

Luna Foundation Guard To Support Struggling UST Peg With BTC Reserves

"High-volumes sales of UST have pushed the stablecoin below peg for several hours. The LFG will loan $750 million from its BTC reserves to market makers for stability operations. Today, the Luna Foundation Guard (LFG) — tasked with defending the peg and armed with $2.6 billion in bitcoin — is manning the ramparts."

We're not fans of your newfound optimism.

Don't feel right.

To be unusually on-topic, I noticed that usually when we see large price moves that are probably organic, the chasing price walls are often depleted but in this recent crash, the asks were particularly resilient,

Haha!  Yes.

We are pretty close to being able to declare that model as broken.  It can still end up valid from here, but at this point that is in the very unlikely category.

I have never been a big fan of the model, and thought it would break on this "cycle".

But I, the consummate BTC bagholder, expected it to break to the upside. Wink

So our magic line in the sand is something around 29250.  That would be cool if it holds, but the way things look, I would expect we are more likely to go lower than that. I wish this felt bottomy, but it really doesn't.  I almost bought a little last night, but did not ...  The streets are not bloody enough yet. Sad

Hello WO gang.

Nothing to worry about this dip:

Nothing to see here

I mean, god forbid that M. Saylor comes out and says "Hey guys, chill out! Bitcoin would have to fall to some absurdly low price level before we did anything, and even then we would just put up more collateral. We wouldn't have to sell a single satoshi."

Oh no, what will the bears and trolls posting their Microstrategy margin call doomporn do now?  Roll Eyes

Never selling
Hugely off topic I know but I'm sure there's fellow old timer nerds in here that will appreciate this... Duke Nukem Forever, the original 2001 E3 build FINALLY leaked.

Been playing around the last few hours and damn it's like I've been transported back to my early teens; if they released this instead of constantly fucking around and restarting development it would have been a hit for sure!

Aaaaaanyway, my call of a 31.5k low wasn't quite right but seems we've at least stablilised at that point. Where to from here though? Hopefully up!

Duke 3D was my Duke Nukem of choice, never played Forever.

The Forever they eventually released was dogshit, this leaked version before it got started again would have been amazing had they stuck with it. But yes, Duke3D was the shit!

I'll look into it then. I wonder why they didn't pursue and release it.
