Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Whatever it is still over a Booring range and i am sure about the upcoming week its gona be red again then might be a rally again.
...

You just made my ignore list with your non resized images.

LOL, that's a bit harsh.

Done but chart looks oddd in the resized image to manage it do let me know

When you resize your image, don't define both width and height. One is enough, otherwise the scale is off. Also, it's more of a thread etiquette to resize an image when you quote someone compared to an original post. However, most observers would appreciate if you resized the image in your original post too, if the image is too large.

Right now, your image is too small in your original post, making it hard to read. Try to set width to 600 or something suitable. Like this:

And when you quote someone, set the width to e.g. 200, like this:

Just keep posting. I'm enjoying reading your posts.

Sir thanks actually a user said that resize is better to post then i looked for the Posts regarding resize and got a code then simple pasted that code now i know how to use thanks for your guidance i will take care of it next time.

Like he said when you requote an image then resize it again like I did here.

Have fun!  I have to admit, I have given this a lot of thought.  And to be honest, I am still not exactly sure what the best ideas are.  There are advantages to a clearnet node, but also TOR give interesting advantages as well!  Particularly all the routing details get folded into TOR.  No port forwarding etc.

The server you describe will be more than able to run bitcoind and lnd and/or cl.  For sure.

One of the things that has puzzled me...  I think my node has gone through these periods of time where it is routing TONS of payment... and then it will just dry up.  The channel you   and I have up seems to have routed about 40 millions SATS.  Not bad.  But I have another channel with (let's say) another prominent WOer that has routed NOTHING.  Puzzles me a little.

But I have some fun with it all, really...

Anyway if you want, when you get the new one up, you are welcome to connect to either of my nodes... I can even do a little triangle with you and my 2.

Thanks! I'm planning to migrate my node to the new server without closing any channels though. This twitter thread inspired me.

EDIT: I just opened a 5M sats channel to your other node. What's the reason behind two nodes though, watchtower?

I just paid 25 dollars for 2 hamburgers, a few chips and a rice salad with a couple of vegetables, at the Havana airport. You see, the price is in CUP (Cuban pesos) but they don't accept that currency, the moneda nacional. They want dollars, euros, or credit card. If you pay in cash, they give you change in CUP, that you can't use !

Everytime we ate at government restaurants, the food was pretty bad, but it was very cheap (in pesos). However that's in part because the real value of the CUP is 4 times less than the official rate. At the airport, they apply the official rate. Some people get here, and first thing they do is change 1000$/€ for pesos, getting 25000 pesos, when at the street rate they would get 100000 !

So our burgers were something like 600 pesos = 6 dollars. But we paid the official rate of 25:1 and it ended up at 24 dollars.

Makes you understand (the whole trip) the madness of an ever devaluing currency. Everyone here has at least 2 jobs, one given by the government, and one on top so they can actually live, since the government job pays literally peanuts.

Wow, that's some expensive burgers! I guess it's a wise thing make sure you have a lot of USD on hand before you visit. How was Cuba though? Any 'must see' or 'must do' recommendations?

Back when I was working, I had a work mate from Cuba. He had some pretty wild stories, growing up in Cuba in the 80ies, in the midst of the Cold War. I wonder if the country is as poor and isolated as is was back then.

Also, another thing that confused me is the Guantanamo Bay. How come the US has a military base in Cuba considering the relationship with the two nations? I guess I can google, but it just strikes me as odd.

Note the unconventional cAPITALIZATION!
Screw this, my lightning node sucks.

I suspect I'm missing out a ton of routing because I'm running a tor node. Currently, my node has a capacity of 2.55 BTC with 47 channels, but I'm barely seeing any activity. According to lnrouter.app my average channel response time is 2.4 sec and my node response time 0.6. That's far from impressive...

If I'm going to run a lightning node, I might as well do it properly. I'm thinking a new baremetal server with a mini atx motherboard, a ryzen 5 processor, 16 GB ram and 2x 2TB SSD (for a RAID setup). After that, mitigate my node to this new dedicated server, running a RaspiBolt clearnet node.

With a new setup like this, I'm ready to add enough funds to build a node with 10+ BTC capacity and 100+ channels.

Ok, let's do this. Time to go shopping.

Removed, just resize it to the size where you can read the text and that is usually the optimal size, you'll get better at it over time.

All you have to do is use either the height or the width, not both and the aspect ratio will do the rest.

Go back and quote some good examples from previous pages and you will see how its done.

You're right. Thanks for the ignore tip, this is what i just was about to do anyway.

EDIT: And i keep standing by my decision to abandon the forum ignore list, of course.

I have a huge ignore list, I even have chart buddy on it.

It keeps me sane (relatively) and I just hit the show toggle if I want to see whats there.

Really the only way I can keep up with this thread for all these years.

For now i am expecting a dip to buy before the 25 th April then a pull back.

Well for the whole year the probability of BTC breaking ATH is 20% Close to me and moving in a Particular range from 55k to 38k more or less.

Still its crypto nothing is permanent may be with time my opennion changes haha....

Clearing up some liquidity. I recognized the sausage was not throbbing in your direction.

Will makes sure to rectify that by EOD. I hope...

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm looking forward to the Throbbing Sausage.

EDIT: Honestly not sure how much of a qualitative difference you are going to have, running a baremetal node over TOR. Only way to improve performance, is to get off of TOR entirely, and onto the main net, IMO.

Yeah, that's the main reason. Switching from tor to clearnet.

After that, mitigate my node to this new dedicated server, running a RaspiBolt clearnet node.

From what I've heard, some people says their umbrel node is acting weird/slow when they are running a large node (100+ channels) on a raspberry pi 4. So my thinking here is if I want to increase my node with 100+ channels, which I intend too -- I want to do that on a proper server, running on the clearnet. I'm not too concerned about OpSec and revealing my IP. If I know what I'm doing (which I rarely don't though), I should be OK.

Have a super weekend, frens.

You too my friend. Have fun with your nephew!

You know, he knows the rules, so he won't be banned. This is where his point about Freedom Of Speech is correct.
Nonetheless, i wasn't aware he dumped - i probably was, but forgot about it - but this puts his accusations of "liars" in a very different light.
Best to play the ignore-me game, i guess. Worked a charm regarding the real Cuntonian(s) as well, afair.

Nice, are you guys going to play good cop/bad cop on me now?
This will not work. You’re the one with the most BoD (benefit of a doubt).

BoD my ass.

My 0.0011 vs 5000

I’m so jealous we are buying shills in bits and pieces and these ****** buying in bulk. Soon these banks and so called treasury funds will start buying too and we will left with nothing to buy or buy at much much higher rates.

Didn't JJG recently write that everbody here should be set and fasten the seat belt?
Remember, it's not as much a matter as WHEN than IF.

Does not sound like something that I would say (with that kind of wording... technically speaking).. but it might be a sentiment that I would agree with.

What I mean is that I tend to speak in terms of probabilities, and that sounds like a statement of certainty.

Sorry, i wasn't sure about that anyway, hence the question mark. And yes, retrospectively, you indeed are speaking in terms of probabilities and relativities.
Should have known better.
