Yes,.,. but they have not actually raised such interest rates yet... they ONLY said that they intend to raise them, and if they actually did raise them, they would probably end up having to soon thereafter roll back such an action...

Giggling a bit that because the FED raising interest rates with a few basis points on their filthy fiat, the dollar value of Bitcoin goes down.

Why does the FED raise interest rates? Inflation, massive inflation. Do you really think the dollar is now all of the sudden a store of value again? Of course not, bitcoin is. Raising interest rates hurts those having debts, number one being your government. Interest would never be raised unless red alert.

This is the time to buy bitcoin, not sell.

I'm not ready to give up the four year cycle theory just yet, If we still haven't had a blow of top in march I'll abandon it, but not before that.

Bitcoin market vs Wall Street:

2018-2021 in bitcoin is the equivalent of Internet in 1997-2000 (the early pile up, volatility in 1998 that could be compared to bitcoin's 2020 episode, recovery and fast capitalization growth).

2022 (plus maybe part of 2023, maybe not)-Wall street, having figured out that bitcoin (with or without others) is THE GAME (witness where all former head honcho regulators from SEC, OCC, etc got the new jobs), wants to push bitcoin down as much as they could similarly to Internet stocks in 2001-2002.

late 2022 (hopefully) or 2023-we start the bull run that would last a VERY long time and would go to incredible highs (for comparison see charts of GOOGL, NFLX since 2004). The underlying cause-mass adoption, of course.

TL;DR it rhymes with the Internet story-line.

By the way, we have ONLY gotten down to $42,414 as I type this post, and that was about 7 hours ago.

Surely more down is NOT a given, even though it seems that there is a whole heck of a lot of current DOWNities pressures, and frequently it is more clear that the bottom is "in" when there is some kind of a spike/bounce.. not a condition precedent, but still more clear to get a strong bounce.. but it has not happened yet.. so suffer, suffer and suffer.. and sure buy a few more coins along the way DOWNity.

Currently, my buy orders are every $1k increment, so surely I am buying every $1k fall in price that started in the mid-$44ks.. and surely I would prefer to not buy more because I have enough lillie fiends.... but anyhow, if the BTC price goes down, I will buy until I run out of buy orders..my current buy orders go down to $20k.. but I am having a hard time considering revisiting anywhere in the $20k's again.. I would likely consider bear market if we get into lower $30ks again.. but I am surely not expecting that either.. but whatever comes comes.. cannot really know with certainties... ... and surely prefer no $30ks at all and lower $30ks might start to get depressing.. anyhow..I prefer NOT to buy any more lillie fiends too, so there is that... and I prefer to witness that some bears get reckt... but they don't seem to be getting reckt in recent times.... so there is that, too...

My alert just hit today, bought 50% of what I am supposed to spend.
Waiting for next confirmation to spend rest 50%.
