Make no mistake, this is a backdoor Bitcoin ban.

Compliance is impossible. Their intent is to criminalize full nodes, lightning nodes, and most Bitcoin wallets.

https://twitter.com/balajis/status/1423471937318129668

... it appears that the Democrats have gone full nazi, now championing effectively what is a BITCOIN BAN in the USSA

... hope all you leftie coiners here are happy with your choice of jackboot, at least now we can see the colour of the jackboots that will stomp on the throat of bitcoin so we know who to shoot back at

What I don't quite understand is that the price does not go along with this news. Either the market has not heard the news or it thinks that this last amendment is not going to be approved or something.

We choose to go to the moon
AML/KYC laws that G7 FATF (financial action task force) has strong-armed into criminal law all over the globe are being abused by (corrupt?) authorities to spy, surveill and target political opponents

... file under goverment idiots causing disastrous unintended consequences when over-reaching and misusing technogy outside it's design purpose ( money is not a surveillance/political tool, it is an economic good)

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
Nobody knows what is ACTUALLY happening (including myself) as far as where we would find ourself in 6-12 mo.
There seems to be a political and inter-agency fight around bitcoin and the rest of 'them.

"A lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head."

Well, for me anyway it kinda adds a a little zest to ones otherwise dreary, but not necessarily unfulfilling life.
Gardening and throwing treats to the cats has its limits in excitability doncha know....

Some peeps cannot take a little inevitable volatility and not knowing the price direction of their lil fiend stash, so they convert their lil fiend stash to fiat...

bbbbbbboooooooorrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiinnnnnggggggg

I have enough boring fiat that largely goes DOWNity, relatively speaking.. or at least has been going DOWNity ever since I be born.

Remember those bubble gum machines that ONLY cost a penny for a piece of gum... or the Ramen for like $.10 per pack?  Those days seem to be gonzo.. whatcha gonna buy for a penny or $.10 these days with your dollars?

I with you sirazimuth.

I prefer keeping a wee bit of cccccccciiiiiiitttttttttteeeeeee in my life..... and nice to have an acquaintance like our common lil fiend, even the wee bit of around 0.21 BTC that I gots, used to only buy me a cheap McDonalds meal fairly decent meal for two for $5.25 $52.50  in 2015 back when the cheap meals of Micey D used to cost that much, but now-a-days my 0.21 BTC will get me a fairly decent used car for $8,400, if I were in the market for a used car of that caliber.. or I could buy a lots of nice things, even food, if I did not have enough food to eat.  I probably could go out to eat with a similar caliber of meal more than 84 50 times.. versus 1 time back in 2015 with the same 0.21BTC.

Who should be complaining about those kinds of on the ground results?  I am not going to lie.     I like the kinds of relative ccccccciiiittttteeee of having had a buddy like lillie fiend for all these years, and I really cannot see little buddy giving up on me, at least not relatively speaking, and at least so long as I am NOT trying to rush whatever is going to happen is going to happen..

Edit:  Whoops, I made a 10x mistake above... and no one caught it.   I fixed it.. It's a mistake of a matter of degree rather than kind, but it still seems to me that 50x more purchasing power now (rather than 84x) remains a pretty comfortable place to be 6 years later, no?

We are not desperate or anything like that... so go ahead.. Do what you gonna do, king daddy....  Not like there's much of a choice for us normie peeps, anyhow.
The $40k resistance will soon be over and we might witness another pump this week and that taking prices to next bar and then chart buddy will show price range of $50-$51k.So not being desperate i am going on with my DCA journey and putting more into btc out of the box.

Overnight Cheesy

But hope you are right and we hit that price level and  bitcoin holders enjoy golden jubilee price party at $50k   Grin

Haven't we already had something close to $10k pumps in 24 hours-ish in dee life of king daddy?  Even if we have not reached that exact substantive level of pumpening, we could surely end up experiencing a pump of something like a 25% in 24 hours-ish and if 24 hours does not work for dee king daddy, then take ur sweet time lil fiend, and we could grant you 36 hours to accomplish $10k MOAR Up if you need a bit more time - or do 25% or whatever you feel like doing for dee peeps in these here parts..

.. no rush, no pressures, really..

We are not desperate or anything like that... so go ahead.. Do what you gonna do, king daddy....  Not like there's much of a choice for us normie peeps, anyhow.

Lets be honest, low budget cardboard cut out monsters on a primitive set were good back in the day, no denying,
but gotta move with the times, and not  be stuck in a timelord time warp, yeah?
Some of the new updated stuff is really good, imo.

Some changes better than others. I think moving away from the multi-episode stories was a mistake
