Oh that sucks. Of course, the guy is a pathological liar so I don't beleive him.

Last thing that anyone should want is for Musk or Tesla to own any Bitcoin.

Pretty sure he can't lie about this without going to jail.  Assuming the same rules apply to him as do me.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Stuck in the $4xxxx range... currently $44923USD/$54432CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Could be better, could be worse. No big deal.

1BTC is still worth 1BTC.

So...Musk tweet is like the Silk Road bust of 2013?

OGs know what I'm talking about...

My memory may be failing me but that was a sharper but also shorter dip if I recall correctly (assuming this is a dip).

...hovering around 100$...

...Instant flash crash in BTC price...

...The price rebounded from its almost 40% crash - within 2-3 days it was hovering around the 100$ mark again...

Richy's memory is better on this one. It was indeed a sharper and shorter dip.

It only took 1 hour to crash from $130 to $110 and another hour to bounce back up.

It never did go all the way down to $100 and of course has never hit double digits since.

Luckily I'm a bit of a digital packrat so I saved the Chartbuddy documentation.

I don't know where I'm going, but I'm going.
I kind of miss Roach, he would at least stir things a bit every now and then.
Wonder what side he would have taken, he hated both jews, arabs and muslims, (and most women).

People should stop believing in sky daddies altogether. Certainly not be indoctrinating children into these ancient cults.

The only religion we should be allowed to follow is Bitcoin.

As for women; they are good for a few things I've found. But the list seems to be getting shorter to me.
For example I've seen some women talk about Bitcoin online but never met one who does that in person, so I am yet to be impressed to be honest.

hahahaha

Difficult to find anyone in real life to talk about bitcoin, women or otherwise, and sure if you spend the whole time looking down their shirts then they might just rather get down to business with the bunny rather than talk.    Tongue Tongue Tongue

By the way, I have found some folks who want to talk about bitcoin and sure mostly guys, and it seems that guys are more likely to deviate into shitcoins rather than women, so in that sense I have found women in real life to be more focused on bitcoin than guys, but sure, they might tell me that they are going to do one thing, and then later I find out that they did the exact opposite of what I suggested to do because whether guy or gal, seems that everyone wants to exercise their own agency which surely tends to lead to errors, especially moreso when they have less experiences.

So gosh personalities of men and women do tend to be different, but it still seems that many folks are vulnerable to the same kind of hesitancies, believing bad information, inabilities to create and stick to a strategies, tendencies towards gambling and other emotional and even knowing better kinds of flaws.. hard to really blame folks in real life for those personality traits, even though sometimes it can be a bit frustrating, but I may well have a few frustrating personality traits too.. anything is possible..at least almost anything.   Wink

I know at least 3 women who hodl BTC (and other crypto) and are advertising it too, one of them being my own gf. She even took out her pension fund and invested it in BTC (80%) and some alts. My friends gf is ahead of my friend in terms on bag size, she has been smarter and hasn't played around with shitcoins so much Smiley

Note the unconventional cAPITALIZATION!

Thanks Homer, that was it. That's the little bag!

Looks like I'll be OK. It's amazing how psychology affects our brain and body. Yesterday I was happily eating beef jerky sprinkled with O2 absorber and enjoying it (tasted great BTW). Now, the mere thought of doing this again makes me want to puke my guts out.

It's going to be beef jerky without O2 absorber from now on!  Cheesy

I am sorry for your experience with the oxygen absorber, but I am delighted you got to experience beef jerky. Wink  Jack Links is a mainstream brand here in the US, and it's decent enough.  But there are also many small brands and less mass produced sorts of jerky that are also excellent.

But the very best of all?

My wife and I have made it with a food dehydrator.  We have the butcher cut some meat very thinly, and we season it, and put it in that gizmo and it takes a few days I think.

IT. IS. DELICIOUS.  MUCH MUCH better than anything you can buy in a store.  Similar to the difference between a loaf of bread from the store, and one baked at home.  Anyway... something to try.

Chartbuddy doesn't use a browser. So that initial login is tricky. There may be ways of doing it manually and transferring the cookies to Chartbuddy if the forum doesn't guard against them but in my experience you tend to run into them expiring way too often and that requires manual intervention again. That's way less than ideal.

Bitcointalk offers a link for captcha-less login that works only for a specific user.
It has the form

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=login;ccode=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Could that help?

In addtion here is the corresponding topic and the link where you get that unique code for your login from:

How many bottoms will we see? I'm not complaining though. These bottoms still look awesome to me. If you told me we'd be at 4x,000 in May 2021 a year ago I wouldn't have believed it.

When I log into the forum newly or from a new location, there is a anti-bot captcha, but once I get passed the captcha, I tend to be able to stay logged in for a pretty damned long periods of time without being reprompted with the anti-bot captcha.. even on my phone... In other words, doesn't getting past the anti-bot captcha manually resolve the issue and chartbuddy just would stay online and post once an hour or so.. or if you believe that posting every hour (like it did previously) is too frequently, then it could post at another more comfortable interval (every 3 hours, reasonable?). but might end up missing some happenings.. and not really sure how much members would appreciate having that data embedded around their posts..

Michael Saylor Responds to Elon Musk - Bitcoin Environmental Impact & Energy Debate

Saylor at his usual top-notch performance, debating crushing Elon's nonsensical claims. Saylor is an engineer, and that helps a lot.

I'm not sure Saylor is an engineer though he did graduate from MIT.  He said he was a rocket scientist.

This is the O2 absorber in Jack's Links:

https://www.mgc.co.jp/eng/products/sc/ageless/

Here's some pertinent info:

Q2. What happens if AGELESS is accidentally consumed?

A:The main constituents of AGELESS include iron powder and vitamin C, while the main constituents of AGELESS EYE include inorganic salts and colorants. These constituents have been confirmed to be safe in acute toxicity tests by official institutions. The packing materials used in AGELESS and AGELESS EYE pass standard regulations for food containers, plates and packing set by the Ministry of Health and Welfare notice 370 issued in 1959 and notice 20 issued in 1982 as a material that is able to come in direct contact with foodstuff.

What if the powder in AGELESS comes in contact with my eye?
This may cause scarring on the eye. Wash with copious quantities of water and seek medical advice from a doctor.
What if AGELESS (AGELESS EYE) packing is swallowed whole?
This may damage the esophagus and digestive organs. Seek medical advice from a doctor.
What if the powder in AGELESS comes in contact with my skin?
Wash with soap.
What if the powder in AGELESS accidentally enters my mouth?
Wash your mouth out with water.
What if AGELESS is boiled (with noodles etc) ?
While there are no health concerns, the iron powder and other components may adversely affect the taste of the food. If the AGELESS packing is ripped open, the iron powder may become mixed with food. Eating the food is not recommended in this case.

Stay safe!  Smiley

You can always shake a little bit of ascorbic acid powder on your jerky if you want to revisit the experience (go easy on it if you have issues with acid reflux).  It will boost your immunity and upgrade your beef jerky to fruit-like status too Smiley

You guys remember Bitcoin died every weekend in 2017/18? I think its the first time in this Bullrun we have this sentiment. And I am not hearing it as often as in 2017/18 and before.
Bitcoin has been very high for months now. From all former ATHs it crashed within days. I can't believe going sideways for months is the new top, it's just part of the bullrun up.

Facebook, tried that. Didn't really work out.

Coinbase and Circle, on the other hand, did USDC and it's doing great.
I think that Facebook was greedy and didn't do their homework properly. For example, the coin "basket" they've tried to use made their coin proposal become a competitor for USD. But that's just me.

Not just you... The US Senate, and the Federal Reserve are thinking exactly the same way.  They would stop bitcoin too, if there was anyone to stop.
