Today's Saylor:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-s-A_TK8gNk

EDIT:
It used to be ( I read about it somewhere recently) that the only thing engineering elite needed to say to get all funds they needed for 50 years was "Russia".
Now, Saylor very smartly reduces the needed argument for governments to stay away and allow as much innovation in bitcoin as possible is also one word: "China".

I don't know where I'm going, but I'm going.
As we can see, the wall of bitcoin wanting to be converted to USD is ever growing and further proving that no new ATH can come. Soon the wall of sell orders will wash over and through the "wall" of buy orders. It is mathematically certain that we will see $10k again this year. I know nobody really doubts this.

Will you ever get tired mate?

Where's r0ach btw? (wasn't there a rule where you can mention him twice a year?)

He disappeared in the beginning of the pandemic and haven't been heard of since.

Oooohh... I'll shut up now.

Not sure if this has been posted before:

There is something extremely sexy about listening an English accent hottie talk about stock-to-flow, BTC culture and art.
Love her work ... oh ... love her too.

I don't know where I'm going, but I'm going.
r0ach was kind of fun, I actually liked him. The persistence and negativity was always a fun thing to read. Made me feel somewhat normal.
I have a bad feeling about r0ach. Would like to hear from him again, but I'm afraid we never will.

Well, we will all perish at one point, won't we?

Life sucks and rocks at the same time. Just make sure you live it.

there are so many metrics to predict future development, what's wrong with this one?

the altcoin market looks to me a bit like bitcoin's lungs. you can really see them breathing in the charts. they act as a buffer and multiplactor at the same time.

this breathing we see there is the flow of capital. People trying to make profits through price movements. small self-reinforcing and self-referencing feedback loops can then lead to huge price explosions, because all the capital is attracted at the same time as if by a sigularity.

soon.

That's a great analogy!  I jut hope it's wearing a mask, socially distancing from other markets and ultimately getting a pseudo-vaccine.   It would be a shame if the altcoin market succumbed to SARS-CoV-2.

#Bitcoin miners are continuing to HODL.
(or maybe even buying on top of the mining because of putting bitcoin in their treasury)

EDIT: Saylor's view on the subject:

Quote
Triple Maxi #Bitcoin Mining Strategy =
(1) Keep all the BTC you mine
(2) Issue Equity/Debt to purchase capital equipment & pay operating expenses
(3) Issue additional Equity/Debt to acquire more BTC if/when accretive.  #HODL

I fix broken miners. And make holes in teeth :-)
I was thinking the same thing. Even if we disagreed I hope he's ok.

Good point, he did stop posting quickly and I don't remember him flouncing. I hope he's ok.

I consider my time spent checking the price, even more when I do here on the WO, amongst the best time spent!

In my case it's not me checking the price, it's bitcoin checking on me because she cares.
It's completely different.

Btw, not affected by Suckerberg leak: no fakebook, nor instazham here.

No worries, soon your $1000/week stimmy (*cough* UBI) check from the govt should cover it. That's at least 4 big macs a month for ya.

That'll be $4000 in tax, please.

Anyway, I've been thinking recently for a tool to measure the profit/losses of the daily traders who follow the trend. It is well known that those kind of traders are 99.9% losers. I mean, for each pump, no matter how big, they make on average 1%-2% profit. While on the dumps they can't afford a 1-2% stop loss and so make on average (x/2+1)% loss, if the dump was x%. (I'll try to explain my logic below.) Thus, they theoretically are always losing in the longterm. I guess thay have the same level of math and science as proudhon and can't understand this.

I think an analysis of the short-term movements would be interesting. My hypothesis is that they're essentially random (which, incidentally, is also what you would expect to see should enough people have very good trading strategies). I.e. unless you have specific knowledge, you're basically gambling.
