..the dumb ideas contained therein end up coming true.
...a classic misnomer.
Blows up on his/hers/its own petard..and lives to tell the tale as if nothing happened, lol.
This phrase is a clear candidate for adoption (slightly below HODL in significance...yet).
In fact, this is EXACTLY what most of the Street keep saying about bitcoin.
yes.. exactamente, Biodom...
You are seemingly starting to get it... slowly, slowly, slowly..
You are coming around....
The street.
Fuck the street.
The street has been poo pooing bitcoin in varying degrees for at least 10 years, and if they had engaged in a wee bit of DCAing into bitcoin at any time in those 10 years (excepting the past 6 weeks), they would at minimum be UP at current BTC prices of a bit over $52k.. and surely, the longer that they had been DCA'ing into BTC, the more they would be UP, currently... and furthermore, the investment into bitcoin has so far been so damned asymmetrical to the upside that it would not have taken very large investments into bitcoin (relatively speaking) in order to be considerably UP in terms of overall value and in terms of comparing to most (if not all) asset classes.
In any event, you would have to consider the contents of my various earlier posts in regards to the use of calendar considerations.. namely March to perhaps attempt to understand what I am referring to when I had used the description of "the dumb ideas contained therein end up coming true."
But, why would you care Biodom? You like to present matters out of context frequently for funzies, no? Hopefully, not too many folks get confused by your funzy attempts.. and your seemingly many ongoing sympathies for what wall street thinks or may be thinking in connection to our lil buddy.. aka honey badger, aka king daddy, aka bitcoin.
After a day of non-stop working, my wife just ranted that i told her to buy some corn, before the price went down.
She said: If you wouldn't have stressed me to do it, i could buy now at a better price...
I replied: Look: Bitcoin is volatile. This made your initial investment go about x20 over three and a half years. Now your gains are only x18 (at the moment), so what exactly are you unhappy about? You think about a gain like it's a loss. You should probably start to think in terms of BTC instead of money.
She said: You're right. It's better to think about it this way.
Good girl
People need to be reminded on a regular basis, and from time to time (especially when the price is dipping) many of us are guilty of getting into bad frameworks and forgetting about some bigger picture details.
