[krebsonsecurity.com] At Least 30,000 U.S. Organizations Newly Hacked Via Holes in Microsoft’s Email Software

Quote
“It’s police departments, hospitals, tons of city and state governments and credit unions,” said one source who’s working closely with federal officials on the matter. “Just about everyone who’s running self-hosted Outlook Web Access and wasn’t patched as of a few days ago got hit with a zero-day attack.”

https://krebsonsecurity.com/2021/03/at-least-30000-u-s-organizations-newly-hacked-via-holes-in-microsofts-email-software/

And on tomorrow's agenda, forcing backdoors in encryption, because America's shameful infrastructure is plainly not vulnerable enough already and needs downgrading to remove any vestiges of security left.

Bitcoin is GOD
We think a lot about those black lines, forgetting that it’s all still in our hands.

Yes, most people instead of  looking at the future in the way depicted on the image you share they see themselves trapped in a single path without any possibility to get out of it and for the most part I think this is because of the sunk cost fallacy.

They think that since they have invested so much time and money on their current path even if they do not like it they still need to keep going on that direction and that is not true, this fallacy is very common when it comes to relationships and money, and what better example of this than what we see in bitcoin.

At least in my social circle they are finally admitting they made a mistake by not invest in bitcoin when it was cheaper, however instead of correcting such mistake by investing in bitcoin now they are giving excuses like “It’s too late” or “It’s too expensive” and other similar excuses, basically they are using their previous mistake to justify and make yet another mistake which does not make any sense at all, it is true the value of bitcoin is considerable but the question should be will the value of bitcoin be even higher during the next decades? And the answer is an obvious yes so it should be an easy buy and yet they do not do it, they are afraid of getting out of the current path in which they are and they limit their options in a nonsensical way.

Strangely enough, about a week before the Thai navy came after us a friend of mine told me that he has had friends killed who were trying to create technology to go into space.

Mainstreaming space will definitely open a can of worms and rock a few boats.

One eye opening thing I was told is...whoever controls Earth's orbit, controls access to space for all humans. And eventually the whole world.

This is a good point. Never thought about that.

I question this whole idea.. sounds like more pie in the sky man trying to suggest that he can control nature without screwing it up.. how the fuck are you going to change the Earth's orbit without engaging in major screw ups?  Fantasy landia in science and military matters might even be worse than the fantasies in the etherhead space... or life extension bullshit suggesting that peeps can live until 500 or some other nonsense like that.. . when you would be lucky to get to 100 and still have anything close to quality of life.. a rare beast who makes it to 100 and still has some semblance of quality of life.. indeed.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I'm not talking about changing the orbit. It's about having control of the space in Earth's orbit. Mainly...if anything flies from Earth to space, they will need approval of whomever has all of their technology up there. Once someone is in a position to shoot down anything coming into space, they have full control over all future access to space. They also likely have the ability to destroy things on Earth from space such that they can now dictate what is done on Earth.

Akin to people living on an island and a single company now owns all of the boats right off of the island. Anyone new creating a boat and putting it in the water will have it sunk immediately. These boats may also have artillery to shell the land. Whomever owns all of those boats now controls the island and any considerations of expanding off of the island.

That may be so, but you have to ask where do they refuel and provision the boats?

If they have to bring their boats back to land for food and fuel, those boats are vulnerable. And if the dictator that controls the boats lives on the land, then he is vulnerable too.

So long as whoever controls Earth orbit lives on earth, they can be dealt with.  It’s only when they live off earth (Mars?) that it becomes a real problem.

This is so only from the conventional point of view.
This is the alternative:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eternalism_(philosophy_of_time)
https://bigthink.com/surprising-science/a-controversial-theory-claims-present-past-and-future-exist-at-the-same-time

To sketch it roughly, it proposes that:
Quote
The block universe theory says that our universe may be looked at as a giant four-dimensional block of spacetime, containing all the things that ever happen

Personally, I do sometimes experience a sense of Déjà vu or the acute sense that it is wrong to do certain action (I feel it almost like a physical force).
It does not happen often, but every time it results in profound changes in the life trajectory.
Perhaps, this is the block time universe giving me a 'signal' so I don't deviate from what "suppose" to happen?
It is weird, but I got used to it and don't "fight".

Meditation is timeless observing.
Controlling is quite the opposite of it.
Getting out of being controlled (by thoughts, for example) - as well as of controlling (trying to control)- is a side effect of observing.

If you need many words to describe something simple, you probably didn't get it...

Here, we start from here. Why do you feel like 'control' is a bad word? Or a bad practice?

Feeling in control is confidence. Confidence is not letting anything interfere with u'r vibration. Basically you meditate to hold a certain vibration. We do not judge or lay a sentence if a vibration is good or bad. You are just in control of a certain vibration. If u want to control fear or courage and always be in a state of fear or courage. You can do that trough meditation. Because meditation is a tool that you can incorporate within you and adapt it with your surroundings. Control is not bad, it's just a state of meditation. Smiley

Its nothing wrong to do "her own way", the point of meditation is to not give a f^ck in the first place. And having shoes ready, good for her!!! Making yourself the most comfortable and making the things that don't make you worry, is perfect. If u don't worry, I consider that a perfect meditation exercise. Smiley

The concept of meditation is meditation.
But if you decide to do it the yogi way, or tai-chi (doesn't matter which way, honestly) then you better do it exactly how it's meant to be. It's a tradition with meanings, expressed in postures, feelings, emotions, breathing and the balancing of all this.
The way you try to put it, it's like saying "Tantra is just touching a naked person, it doesn't matter how you do it".
You can as well just go on and meditate straight away, like in "the power of now" methodology, right. But this also has it's own tradition(s) and is not "meditation" as such either.
Meditation is not about not giving a fuck in the first place, it's more about to fall in love with existence. "not giving a fuck" is a perspective of the ego.

No.
And Yeah in the same time.

You are wrong and also have some truth.

Basically u can't force a 'normie' to have rigid rules and making them to take a path of harsh rules & restriction.
One must come to peace with their surroundings trough their own experience and lerning curve. Just because todlers are supposed eventually to walk and speak, it doesn't mean they have to walk and speak. Smiley

I understand that there might be rigid techniqués and rules that need to be followed. And they might take you faster to a state of harmony.... But some might get more out of it if they try to get to that sense of harmony by trying to understand how they can get there on their own and if they want that, and how can they understand their path in an ascending way by observing the things they don't like. Meditation is more about awareness, being aware by the things you don't like and that bother you. And in a way you try to not give a f^ck and be bothered by nonsense. Tongue ... like the shoes. Cheesy Cheesy
The thing is that you do meditate with time and understand new meanings in less or lesser and even nothingness (coming to terms not to take "the observable nothingness as nothingness"). Meditation is a perspective of control to not be bothered by your surroundings and go trough a path or experience without being influenced or altered, keeping/retaining in the same time your older self-state-presence-of-mind attitude and energy. Personal dilemma because I'm afraid of heights but I can stand new bitcoin ATHs. Grin
Will I be able to get onboard the elevator?
That is the problem.
Or maybe I should avoid too much coffee in the morning.
 Cool

In theory, with decreasing gravitational force (the more far away from gravitational mass = earth), the impression of "acceleration" will vanish at some point, at the same time also the perception of height, because you don't feel like you would be able to fall (without sensing any gravity).

EDIT: Height is just distance, but defined by gravitational direction.

EDIT2: Speaking of being afraid (fear), my wife told me about an educational session she followed, where the speaker said that there is only one real (or root) fear, the fear to die (fear from death resp.).
All other frightful emotions are derived from (this) fear. So if you can trick yourself into knowing (sort of) that you won't die, the current diffuse (derived) sensation of fear will disappear. A very strong concept that builds the foundations of many cognitive therapies.

This such boring movement last couple of weeks.. WO - when $60k??

I see a SHS pattern in daily.
Probably "such boring" will be over soon.
Relax  Grin

a great man formula to get rid of "that such boring" is a meditation on the beach with 2 sexy girls around "lol"

I keep in my mind....soon >>"100k" Cool

I know a bit about meditation and all three on the photo are doing it wrong.
However, it's more important that you do it, not so much how you do it, but the chinese and yogi are quite strict with the traditional postures.

Yeah, especially the one in the blue top seems to be doing it "her own way", like she's waiting for something important... She even has her shoes ready, to run to the nearest HoDLer once Bitcoin reaches $100k. Nice.

Its nothing wrong to do "her own way", the point of meditation is to not give a f^ck in the first place. And having shoes ready, good for her!!!
