I fix broken miners. And make holes in teeth :-)
In fact i'm Mr Nobody for local tax office as i have always been under the radar, and that concerns me. I'll have to explain them that money came from a GPU, and not from drugs.

much of my stack is from gpu mining from 2011-2012. one thing i did is sign the payout addys for the pools i used with my name and what the pool or whatever was, plus the approx gear used. those will have the whole payout history from that pool. thats if you still control those addys of course. i also have receipts from the GPUs and pics of the rigs, screenshots etc.

see if you can find anything like that.

That works. I made sure to pay taxes on all mining profits made, minus the equipment costs and electricity bills. Partially because I wanted bitcoin to be seen as real "money earned" (and you pay taxes on money earned, that's the point) and partially because if it ever went anywhere I didn't want some IRS person saying "well you never paid taxes when you mined it, so it's all ours!".

This worked out well. Even when the IRS said "Why the hell are you reporting all this?" (Answer: It's money, I earned it, here is your share as is fair)

There is a realistic chance this will be the shortest WO poll ever.

can some confirm the following...

On the bitstamp depth chart.. it is showing 1,215 BTC for sale..

Is that the total amount currently on the books, or just a snapshot to a certain sell price? ie 100K

Yup. There goes 57k.

I did pop by a bitcoin ATM and sold $1k at 55 yesterday. Mostly to see that the process worked and to feel some crispy fiat. Looks like I may have sold at the bottom again. :-)

I partially agree but he says himself it is not geared toward the scientific community and being peer reviewed, it is instead directed to the german public. Therefor it is written in german and not in english, so there is no danger that somebody who might have an actual clue reads it.

The number of WOs selling is too damn high.

Cause land, cause gift and like going to banks, cause its just a tiny fraction...

Pffff... I'm considering an Audi Q8 myself, but i guess i can wait a month or so to get the RSQ8 (no Urus sold here).
And that would be my tiny fraction.

There is not much difference in price between the 2. My SQ8 costs around 155k ... Had I spoken to my tax guy ealier, then it would be the RS Q8, instead of the SQ8. (I had the fear, that the tax department don't accept the RS Q8 as company car, but the fear was nonsense...)

So yes... Buy you a RS Q8 and finance it, if it's possible. So you do not lost BTC at once. Also consider some BTC backed loan (for example nexo), they give you a loan of 60% of you stash you put in. (als all banks are doing... 60%), but they have a high interest rate of 11.9%. But this is only interessting, if you think the BTC will rise further... It's risky. So no advice in any form from me about that... Only thought games Cheesy

I'm no bussiness man, so sadly no loans or leasing apply for me.

In fact i'm Mr Nobody for local tax office as i have always been under the radar, and that concerns me. I'll have to explain them that money came from a GPU, and not from drugs.

Next concern is security. Rolling with even a Q8 here in Argentina, may become a Walking Dead scene.. with people jumping onto the hood.

Those two matters reinforce the HODLing.

Ah uff ... so buy a fortress and security at first ... don't know ...
