I can just see headlines now...

BITCOIN CRASHES TO 35K!!!

And just like that, all the taxi drivers and Grandmas who fomo bought at 41k, promptly sell their $10 worth of Bitcoin on Robinhood so they don't lose everything....

man if someone would have told me a few months ago that I would buy a dip @ 34200  I don't know what my reaction would have been..

I have no more dry powder.  didn't really know I had any powder, but found just a little more.  NOW I am really out of fiat.

Bitcoin to the moon!
I should get off computer for the day.. Keep buying at different price points only to see the price hit a lower point each time. Think I am done accumulating enough for now.

Can we start the rally to 50k already?

So the first real correction after break of previous 2017 all time high has arrived. Any guess on when we'll be back past 42k?

I'm thinking mid/late February and then 50k early March. This could very well be too bearish of an opinion.

My guess 20th january.

I think we'll hit 50k between end of january/start of february

We cannot rule out the possibility that we will be back to 42,000 by the end of this week..

EDIT3: LULZ. Filled @ $35,000. Targeting $34,000 next order.
EDIT4: Made another order @ $34,500. Looks to be recovering. Enough degeneracy for a bit. Going back downstairs to hang out with Rick and play some video games. I have to take a shower first I think. Feeling filthy stacking all that dip.

Both orders filled. Can't move more money in before tomorrow morning. Probably for the best, I guess. Otherwise, would be buying more dip right now.

Another great day to increase my BTC savings!
To be honest I got a little impatient and sold some of it when we hit 40,000 so this day is my consolation Smiley

In my opinion, this still remains one of the best indicators of retail participation. Still only 30% to what it was in 2017 but clear uptick is there in the recent weeks. Follow these numbers closely in the coming weeks

For those that have asked, we've now added this to The Block's data dashboard. You can check this weekly here:

People are leaving twitter in droves just now, you would have to include Gab and Parler to get real numbers.

Bulls deeming sub $37k bitcoin unacceptable and buying it up quick.  Question is, how much more ammo do the bears have?

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
Ok the dump we were all waiting for... Sub 30k coming?

I want it at all cost. My wish is to enter with more in the $28k-$30k range (but FOMO will probably kick in me on the $32k range). Cashed out some at $40.7k  Cool

Hopefully you did not lose too much by being greedy..

Well, suppose it is o.k. if you lost.. no BIGGIE...

Man who stares at charts (and stars, too...)
A plausible scenario? Check both values and timing.

https://dailyhodl.com/2021/01/09/macro-guru-raoul-pal-says-coinbase-ipo-will-suck-institutional-liquidity-from-bitcoin/

roughly ~100K local peak in Feb or so, back to about 40-45K in the summer, up above 200K in the late fall.

BAKKT is being SPACed as well at $2bil (not that much).
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-01-08/crypto-exchange-bakkt-said-near-merger-with-victory-park-spac

Honestly, I am surprised that Coinbase wants to IPO instead of choosing the SPAC move.
They could have gotten some cash (a bil or more) without much dilution.

I think coinbase IPO will be less interesting for people/institutions that want to actually own bitcoin, or invest in it with bigger timeframes in mind.
This way, they (CB) mainly just maximise profits, at an amount of risk that even bitcoin doesn't inherently carry.
When bitcoin goes down, coinbase is history.
When coinbase goes down, king daddy doesn't give a fuck  Cool

Plot Twist:

After Coinbase IPOs, they announce that they are going to put millions extra $$$ into Bitcoin as their treasury.  Stock goes to the mewn. Bitcoin goes higher as well.

That, or if they say that you can get some coinbase IPO shares if you buy bitcoin on the platform by certain date.
AirBNB rewarded early hosts with some IPO shares, same for UBER and drivers.

We'll see. I'm curious as well.
Too tired to continue spinning my thoughts around it, sorry.

have a good #hodlsleep!

sleep well, my fellows
coinbase will moon with bitcoin.
this, or vice versa?
