is your man for the non-virtual hats but this one might be tough as the "Cocaine & hookers" hat is from a different manufacturer.

 https://golfgodsonline.com/products/golf-gods-cocaine-hookers-black-golf-gods-snapback?variant=13204102152304

It's not a Goorin Bros. but it's like 15 bucks US or 0.0005224 BTC.

To make the avatar hat above, you would also need this one for parts:

https://www.goorin.com/products/black-panther-animal-farm-trucker-baseball-cap?variant=13930611671092

and then some orange dye (and a steady hand) for the thread.

Just need an embroiderer

as I said I looked at the cost of custom patches.  It is doable on the net at a price. then hats went 3d.   Smiley

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
... Warren Buffett...

I like reading the materials of Buffet and Munger. There is much practical wisdom in their writings. But you are completely right: they are humans as well with the faults that come with being human.

...
His later messages were more nuanced ('perhaps not understanding new digital things that good').

It is clear he does not understand modern technology. He did not buy Apple, Facebook, ... I think he only bought Microsoft because he became friends with Bill Gates. He does not buy what he does not understand. At his age, it is very difficult to understand what Bitcoin truly is.

I think he knows anything he invests in lends it credibility and he is a creature of the system that keeps the masses oppressed and likes the spot on the top where he sits and is not going to do anything to change that paradigm.

In other news I have had fun running this on the TV while I'm doing other shit the last few days. Cheesy

there are some undeserving family members, too.. so there is that angle that might be considered, perhaps, prior to charity, perhaps..

Yes, there is that too. Include friends and family. If you really have more than enough, you can throw some at them, not in bitcoin tho. Something like "help" or in the form of a "loan" that you know will never be repaid.

That also keeps them away a bit and makes them stop begging after awhile. I have a friend who I lent some money too. Several years have passed and I think he still can't pay, and he's the one avoiding me. The few times we do meet, I kindly remind them that it's "pay when you are able to, my friend." ...

I don't know if that's really charity or not, since it is a way of manipulating them. They are in debt, to you.

Then you can start talking in a low husky voice:

"Someday - and that day may never come - I'll call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as gift on my daughter's wedding day." - Don Corleone

Good day fellow WOs.

Currently observing a new ATH after "2 whole days" of no new ATHs.

Checking bitcoin charts has become more addictive than Netflix.
Right now Bitcoin is biggest addiction for millions around the globe after this ATH. Cheesy Grin

Cool, thanks for the link.

Oh, they are shareholders of Square too. Nice.

The Norwegian Oil fund has over $1.2 trillion in assets. Their exposure to btc is still only like a drop in the ocean though.

Which will be the first country to actually convert part of their gold reserves to BTC? America, Russia, China, or some smaller, nimbler country perhaps?

2020 is soon coming to an end. I think few of us expected this back in April, when we crashed under $4000.

I think that fourth law that R Daneel came up with all by himself (protect humanity) is a bit too PC for my taste but it works well in the books.

I have to reread those books. Isn't R Daneel the emperors gardener or something on Trantor?

the zeroth law? it did work out in the series.

cant remember if R Daneel was the gardener though, thought he was an adviser of some sort.

time to re read some stuff. got a bit of a backlog right now.

Didn't he have some kind of mental power to nudge people in (what he perceived as) the right direction for humanity?

Or am I confusing that with some other books?

possibly as there was a robot in the robot series that could do that. had to be very very light touch in a direction the person was already inclined as there was the fear of messing the person up bigly. but im not sure if that was R Daneel or his sidekick robot.. forgot its name.

there was The Mule of course but that was really the Foundation series even though eventually the robot and Foundation books were tied together.

Yeah, maybe I'm confusing one robot for another.
The mule wasn't a robot though. But now I know that he was called the mule, in the Swedish books he is called "Mulan", (meaning "the mule") and I never new if that was just a weird future space name or if it actually meant "the mule", now I know.
