Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
maybe we have reached a new well balanced accumulation zone?

That does not tend to happen in bitcoin, especially when there seems to be a kind of ongoing BTC price battle, that is just going to stop because some peeps prefer some stability.. or to take a break.

In other words, the odds are pretty damned low that we will get stuck in these here parts for any length of time.. Even if we try to describe "these here parts" broadly, such as $15k to $18k or some thing like that.

Sure, one or two months could be possible, but I am even having my doubts about that.. and the range in which we can bounce (or move) on short notice seems to be a bit broad in the BTC price dynamics that I feel that I am seeing, at this time.. based on what little that I know - which is that we moved all the way UPpity from $10k-ish to within $180 of breaking the ATH within quite less than 3 months - and most of that advancement happened in the last 3 weeks.. so those were possible battle grounds that we just zipped through, as if they were nothing and ended up in the beginning parts of no man's zone  - almost causing no man's zone to redefine itself as something that it's not.  But, anyhow, we are back out of no man's zone.. so it becomes possible that some of those pre- no man's zone battles could happen.. or we will just hang out here for a week or perhaps a few weeks and then presume our passage through no man's zone as should have been the case, once getting into no man's zone territory.

whatever all that means.

Technical TA blablablabla:

Ideally, we set a slightly lower low now while the 4hr RSI sets a higher low -> divergence which would be positive.

In other news: Austrian Fucking gets renamed to Fugging!

Last call to go there and make that precious selfie with the village sign.

In that regard i can recommend the comedy movie "Bad Fucking" (kinda hard to find via google, but why oh why?  Huh  Grin)
It's in german.  ...wait, some austrian accent, you can compare it with what scottish is like to english.

German speakers (and listeners), enjoy  Smiley

Thanks for the hint, looks promising with some familiar faces from "Vorstadtweiber" there, ordered the DVD.
Seems like classic black Austrian humor. Looking forward to it.

WTF...? I just switched from the 15k temp thingy to my old hat, FFS.

d_eddie, how is your trading working?
I'm not trading atm. I had stopped before covid with the intent of resuming, but now I'm fussing about universal KYC.

(I'm still behind with the WO thread. Should be obvious by now.)

The MSM is starting to run the same playbook as in early 2017.

Distraction, diversion, dissuasion. Hit pieces. Talk of shitcoins.

The message is the same: "Stay away from Bitcoin".

Lambie, a cordial protip from my own perspective as a flame-warrior:

Put your post and Jay’s post side-by-side.  Compare objectively.  One of you comes off as reasonably intelligent, and the other comes off as just wildly slinging mud.

If you take aim at someone who can express himself well, then you need to increase your calibre.  Using myself as an example, observe this contrast:

  • Some abject loser recently insulted me incoherently.  I told him that a dog fucked his mother, and then proceeded to humiliate him thoroughly.  He then left the forum.  (LOL, by the way—the same dog also fucked Mnuchin’s bitch wife.)
  • Some of the shrewder members of DT have a bone to pick with me.  When convenient, I point out to others their dishonesty, their sleaziness, and their hypocrisy.  I do so in cogent terms.  That means fewer cusswords, and more substance.  —N.b. that I am not comparing them to Jay; I think that Jay seems honest and decent.  The analogue here would be explaining why his strategy is suboptimal for his financial goals—not merely from a few bad trades, but overall, in the long term.

Jay, consider this to be my lil contribution to the quality of debate on the Wall.   Tongue Tongue Tongue

We had cheese cake. With homemade vanilla ice cream and blueberries as a topper.

My wife and I have 5 pounds of turkey meat left to eat along with 3/4 of the cheesecake.

Attempt ad 2nd bottom on the 4hr. Not out of the woods yet and it can sure still go to $15,xxx the next few weeks, but it’s an encouraging signal  Cool

So actually you are saying it could go to 15xxx but it could also go UP ....

So eeeuhm it’s down or up iyo?

Of course you get an evasive answer from me  Grin

It can go up and it can go down. My personal ‘worst case’ range is 20 to 30% correction from the top. So that means between $15,598 and $13,648. So $15,000 would still be benign in my world.

What my post was meant to say is that I see buyers fighting back on a chart that is more than short term up/down. The 4hr is not long term but still longer away from the immediate trading moment. I find comfort in seeing a potential reversal building with seemingly sellers trying to push down further to a
lower low again while buyer seem able to prevent this. This would break the ‘straight down’ pattern we saw immediate after the sell off with lower lows following.

Whether it all materialises and also will constitute the lowest point ($16,317 Bitfinex) is written in the cards (the unknown future).

I trust this clarifies your question.

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?
By the way, with in the past day or so, I also incorporated "vapourminer lols" within my BTC sale orders in around similar price arenas that he had outlined.. largely in a symbiotic kind of a spirit of the idea... (I hate to be such a non-original copy cat... but it seemed to be just too good of an oportunidad to pass up) ... Perhaps, I will wait until after such passenings to disclose more particulars to the extent that such lols are worth mentioning and presuming that at some point in the near future (aka soontm) BTC price movements "force" those wannabe lols to play out.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

my sense of humor has been branded "odd" on more than one occasion. fun is where you find it.

im forced to admit my ladders are setup somewhat like yours, i set them up and then its hands off for the most part. plan the sequence best you can and then relax, the emotions can now stay out of it. when occasions warrant it i go readjust stuff. luckily i had done this like a week or two ago and fine tuned the 16k-20k range and the sells then buybacks pretty much happened all while i slept. sold at 17.5k - 18.5k or so and bought it back around 16.2 - 16.7 all preset up. almost took the fun out of it.

my lowest "real" (as opposed to a "lulz") active buy order is at like 1k lol. dunno how long thats ones been there. think ill cancel that one and move it up  a bit heh.. that leaves 8kish is my lowest. which isnt low enough really imo. never know what honeybadger might think up. 6k sounds nice as a low.

gotta keep some lulz amounts lower (and higher) of course.
