Yeah got to agree,
We are on the cusp of breaking the ATH!
Where are all the rocket gifs?
Where are all the comfy memes?
I’m biting my nails to the quick watching the price.
About to crack open a bottle of champers to celebrate.
Expecting a little more excitement from my WO brethren.

I fix broken miners. And make holes in teeth :-)
Now what made the biggest difference is facebook's algorithms that could be exploited by said trolls, targeting people more likely to vote a certain way to convince them to either vote Trump, or stay home.

So Russia could easily flip the election by spending like $100,000 on Facebook while both (R) and (D) campains can't do do shit with billion dollar budgets?

Interesting that "foreign interference" subject is completely gone now.

The moment it became clear that Biden won, they suddenly stopped accusing Putin of trying to hack the voting machines.  Grin

Oddly enough yes: I highly recommend reading "Trust me, I'm lying" by Ryan Holliday for an amazing analysis of just how these campaigns work. This was the guy who did the American Apparel ads that had the 14 year old half naked girls who weren't and the fake "controversy" that fueled them. Note this book came out years before Trump and his ilk.

It's not spending money in places, it's spending money in the right places.

yes

I guess if you have that amount in a bank account long term, you're not interested in generating income anyway, so the bank is right to make you pay, since it costs them too (ECB rates are also negative).

It's not about the individual bank, but the fact that the system pushes negative interest into the markets.

Yes, Russia did flood Facebook and Twitter with election-meddling shitbots

More like a drop in the ocean.
A few silly memes by a shady click-bait commencial firm with the goal of making money on ad clicks.

But of course it was presented on MSNBC as "Russia hacked the election" and "Russia controls U.S. government".

What's happening right now in the US isn't a conspiracy theory, it's an attempted coup. I wouldn't put the word conspiracy in it as it is done in plain sight, we can see all the people involved making themselves a good place in the history books. Fortunately it isn't working and Trump is finally starting to let go.

As for Russian involvement, there are plenty of credible sources that point out to more than "a few memes", it was an entire operation with at least dozens of full time paid trolls (who you could encounter on plenty of forums, on top of twitter and facebook, and comments on all sorts of websites), Russia isn't even denying it. Now what made the biggest difference is facebook's algorithms that could be exploited by said trolls, targeting people more likely to vote a certain way to convince them to either vote Trump, or stay home. Since then these algorithms have created basically a monster that isn't easily stopped.
