Drugs tell no truths.  They do not “expand” consciousness, but dissolve it.  They can turn you into a superstitious nitwit, with voluntarily self-inflicted mental retardation plus schizophrenia.  That is all.

Don’t get me wrong.  Self-harm and suicide are absolute rights, abrogated only by the worst of slave states.  The solution to drug abuse is to give users more drugs; it is cleansing, and even eugenic.

...self-limiting problem...

Election time is coming. So nobody will go in a high risk position. I don't think we will see any sharp moves for 2 weeks more. We can enjoy life a bit with less positions.

Btw crazy thing is really vaccine announcement is depend on elections? Since Trump is using that argument to get more votes.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
since summer I made it a habit to listen to bitcoin podcasts. the amount of good content about bitcoin is impressive. let´s take Guy Swann as an example. he has spit out more than 400 episodes, mainly just reading essential bitcoin pieces but also good interviews and talks. it just lately dawned on me that he got in bitcoin around 2017. and lots of really good writings about bitcoin were created by folks who got into bitcoin 2018 or even later.

in a time period where I contemplated how I can fire up my full node those guys learned about bitcoin, jumped down the rabbit hole, went all-in, started to live and breathe bitcoin, started to work for bitcoin, started to educate others about bitcoin and got to a position where I can learn from them about bitcoin.

I always thought being active in this forum and checking for bitcoin related news would sort of keep me up to date. but fuck no, I have to admit that this isn't the case. intellectual laziness spotted.

not only has my knowledge and insight about bitcoin gotten deeper, in addition my attitude towards and believe in bitcoin has improved. I don't think I was ever that confident about the future of bitcoin.

also, it seems that folks that got in later are able to learn quicker than it was possible for example in 2013. they seem to start on a different foundation.

here are some examples of good bitcoin podcasts.

Eadem mutata resurgo

Quote
Thus, God himself wills it—and/or God is powerless to intervene against it—and/or God does not know the future, such that he can stop evil from occurring.

Do not fret because of those who are evil
or be envious of those who do wrong;
for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.

Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:

He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.

Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.

For those who are evil will be destroyed,
but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.

A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found.
But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy peace and prosperity.

The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;
but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming

... pleasant sentiment but it's a lot like the Fermi paradox "Where is he?"

... for as long as I've been alive wicked people have run amok on the Planet. Looking back in history I don't really seen it has been a whole lot different.

... hope is not a plan.

Summary

Carlota Perez's Technological Revolutions and Financial Capital is a framework that divides technological paradigm shifts into installation and deployment phases.

Recent developments support the idea that we are moving into the deployment phase for bitcoin.

This will lead to widespread adoption of bitcoin as an asset class, and an ecosystem of business necessary to allow institutions to invest in it.

A large amount of institutional capital will move into a small market driving prices higher.

Really straightforward piece.

Another great way to take the emotion out of the process is to “Dollar Cost Average”. Simply deploy a fixed percentage of your monthly pay check straight into an index, or a hard asset. Set and forget. Follow this process through to retirement and you will do better than most. For example, if you had dollar cost averaged into Bitcoin every week over the last 3 years starting at the Bitcoin peak in 2017 and continuing to today (15 October 2020), you would have returned over 30% per year even though Bitcoin is down over 40% from the top!

I think Ratatouille described it best:

The phrase "Anyone can cook"
Does not mean that anyone can become a great chef.

It means that a great chef can come from anywhere....

Of course. The best way to cover your committing fraud is to scream and accuse others of committing fraud. Oldest trick ever.

(Which is why I find Q shit interesting: If you're a child molester the best way to cover tracks is to accuse everyone else of being molesters)
