So quiet here and in all my channels, I thought I better check if my internet broke, but no such luck.
Anyway I put my last few coins into BlockFi, seems such a great deal and such a safe place, nothing could possibly go wrong. /s
In fact I think it will be one of the scandals we need to keep pushing us up the bull hill in due course. When they run of with the money they promise to in their terms and conditions. But I'll be in and out before then.
What's going on with that amount? Satoshis? Is there supposed to be a decimal somewhere in there?
Regarding people wanting to put money with 3rd parties to get interest, I doubt that phenomena will be going away any time soon. There are a lot of people who buy into a nonsense belief that they have to have their money working for them, as if the whole scarcity of bitcoin is not a sufficiently sound and potentially profitable investment thesis.
#Bitcoin is “fuck you” money: it gives free people the power to say fuck you to every policy, politician, and police state in the world.
America is an idea worth fighting for—Let’s get socialism out of our money.

No doubt he's funded by the CIA /fucking s
Anyway his darling Bitcoin will separate state from money, and annihilate socialism, whatever he thinks, so that's nice.
Likely many of us have a bit of a different definition of fuck you money, and when you grow up, you usually are not able to say fuck you to everyone and everything. Even The Donald tries to build his whiny bully status on doing whatever the fuck he wants, but he realizes that there are consequences when he tries to do whatever he wants (even though he continues to do those kinds of things). So people tend to fight back when someone else is trying to use their purported fuck you status to trample upon the rights and freedoms of others, which likely causes consequences no matter how lowly the fuck you-er might believe those other people to be.
