Wish me luck finding a taxi.

Ew. Stay six feet (1 meter 82 centimeters 9 millimeters) away from everyone. Don't get into cars, particularly ones driven by strangers.

a CAB??

yuk. if i had to use one i would sit on the hood or trunk instead of in it.

OTOH, I think I just saw him post that he scored some TP. Perhaps he's merely indisposed, having held it in for a week or two.

No just some, I can go to the sh*tter for a year and be sure to have some soft paperszzz

Two girls, one jar?

speaking of which...where tf is the dude?

In deep deep deep bunker quarantine ..... today’s program, buy a few cheap corns at available price of the day (feels like fish and eating the catch of the day)... then re look at my lower orders, see if there could be some adjustments

Then or better say now gonna go for a RUN with one of my dogs .... small chill moment after that and at exactly 14h I’m expected at my girls place for a les mills garden GRITT course!!!

Yeah, didn’t shares this one in the open yet I think.... but I broke up with my GF after a 6.5 years..... few months ago somewhere around my Brazil trip.... and strangely my path lead me to someone new as well... the dude is happy, and willing to make a coiner of this one as well, she smart and interested so when she sees and learns the fundamentals then she will be a coiner as well, I’m sure of that.
Actually to have met someone before this quarantine situation is a blessing as well, the Dude don’t cook very well and sh*t so lucky me ☺️

Admire yourself discipline. I am FOMO dumping my fiat these days, lost all reservations. Bitcoin under $10k, lol.

(In my mind I bought some rusty coins, which makes them even a bit more special. Might deep freeze them for a decade for extra drama.)

Me too, pumped all of my fiat savings into the King Bitcoin now. What’s the fucking point earning 1% interest pear year if you’re lucky. I’d rather have all my money where I know it’ll at least treble over the next 18 months.

Newsflash!!!

The Dude bought himself some toilet paper  🧻 today  Grin

I'm jealous Mr. El duderino.  I've had to cut back on fiber to conserve toilet paper.  There's none available in these parts!

That’s a bummer, in here a lot of shops where out but seems to be refilling

Coronavirus Cases: 602,049. Deaths: 27,532. Recovered: 138,594.

- Italy reports 919 deaths in a singel day, raising death toll to 9,134.

There were delays the previous day in collecting the data from some regions, that's why yesterday's numebr were so bad, because the previous day's one were better!

Using log axis better shows we still are in the exponential gegion of growth (growth rate>1)

I've tried to avoid the debate on how to treat gin. I enjoy it with Schwepp's and a twist as well as with Dolin's and an olive and a few drops of the brine.

But Bombay Sapphire for gawd's sake? Isn't that something they use for stripping paint? It's barely better than Beefeater or Gilbey's.

To rank it above Tanqueray is a sacrilege and Tanqueray is just middle-of -the-road. I prefer Hendrick's (especially Orbium) for a more subtle, refined taste and Gordon's for full-on honest juniper goodness.

To each their own, I guess. I place Sapphire, Tanqueray, and even Hendricks as about equivalent quality-wise. I just like the mix of infused botanicals in Sapphire.

Hendricks is good for a change of pace from time to time. Cucumber garnish, please.

Gordon's!? Egad, sir! Begone from this place with that turpentine! Well, I guess it's not _crap_ per se - just bland as all nothingness.

Jack Daniels

i feel like such the barbarian.

Patience was rewarded with a price dip. Bought some more. Holding some fiat back should this worsen.

Pick a solid strategy and stick with it. Discipline is everything now.

... confirmed cases outside china still doubling every 4-5 days. Deaths also doubling every 4-5 days, now at ~25,000.

back-of-envelope ... testing is probably 1 generation behind actual infections and only 20% feel unwell enough to get tested so right now estimated infections is around 5 million. Depending on various health systems ability to cope that means deaths expected globally between 50,000-250,000 in the pipeline ... if all infections stopped today.
In the Netherlands 80% of hospitalized cases is overweight, while "only" 50% of the population is overweight (by Dutch metrics). It's just one data point but it could mean the US healthcare system will be hit harder than what we have seen in Asia. The US does have the advantage of having more time to prepare and start earlier with testing, but that was true for Asian countries outside China as well.

Edit: for reference:

Yeah I think things will definitely get worse before they get better... I'm lucky in our country that I'm still able to work. My wife has lost her job until everything re-opens but I'm still able to keep the money coming in. A lot better off than many. Keep safe guys, it's tough out there. Hopefully this time next year all this shit will be behind us and we will be having a 100k party somewhere nice and warm
