Buulllllsshhheeeet.

I thought you were pulling my leg and wasted 20 minutes looking for rude gifs.

And then I thought to actually check my profile.   Dammmm.

I guess I can sit at the big boys table now.

I said as much just a couple days ago - "the last merit I can award to nonlegendary Hairy".
Long overdue if you ask me.
GRATZ!

Thanks man.  But how did you know ?

You had 966 activity. It is known new activity points come each other Wednesday (just a few days after that post). Assuming the random threshold activity to be equally distributed between 775 and 1030, I turned my probe beam to full power. SOMA analysis did the rest.

ETF decision (drum roll) REJECT rule change     Cry   https://www.sec.gov/rules/sro/nysearca.htm

So, basically, 95% of the Bitcoin market is fake volume and/or unregulated and therefore it is not possible to monitor the market for manipulation. Also, that 95% can't be separated from the real 5% in a reliable way that prevents the fake/unregulated/manipulated exchanges from affecting the price of the real exchanges and therefore, the ETF is denied.

Based on that, i don't see how it will ever be approved.

And as far as BSV is concerned, well let's not. Its been proven an outright scam by this point and there's nothing left to be said.

Defend your statement. In what way is BSV -- the blockchain, the payment system, and the protocol -- a scam?

Don't try to make this an argument of semantics when you know full well what I'm referring to. That's weak sauce.

Get real. I am merely responding to your literal fucking words. If you don't mean to imply that BSV itself is a scam, then don't say "as far as BSV is concerned, well let's not. Its been proven an outright scam". Because that would be lying, you conniving bastard. And lying is scammy behavior. Should we all tag you now?

Defend your statement. Or retract it. Any other path forward for you would be dishonorable.

They presented it too much as the true Bitcoin, creating confusion. Also people involved are generally shady with low ethics.

'They' is people. 'They' is not BSV. BSV is a coin, a blockchain, a payment system, and a protocol.

There have been (and continue to be) innumerable scammers in BTC. Does that make BTC itself a scam? No.

Is it too much to ask for equal application of standards? No.

Incidentally, why you feel you need to gang in on nutildah's behalf is puzzling. Is he floundering too badly from a logic standpoint so as to threaten your comfortable religiousity?

It's curious, due to its low correlation, Bitcoin can substantially increase the portfolio with traditional assets.

Correlation (2/1/2012  7/31/2019)

Nothing new here
High volatility and low correlation is a magical recipe for any portfolio manager.

CNBC report on the Bitwise ETF:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8FSrq-X1Ms

I seriously doubt that it will be approved. Nothing has changed with the market since the other denials.

Remember SEC made public on their webpage a presentation from Bitwise. Signals signals...

and btw, FU (nothing personal)

I hope you're right. If so I might raise my target.

When you look at the volume profile, you can see that there is a lot of shopping interest in the order of $ 10K to $ 11.6K.

The road looks very promising, the interest lies very little towards lower levels.

But when is cnbc ever right in their prediction on what bitcoin will do? Undecided
People here have said over the years to always bet on the opposite of whatever their news speculation ever has to say about what will happen in the markets. Wink

The CNBC report was just for some background material. They don't know their asses from their elbows when it comes to Bitcoin.

But my judgement is that it will not be approved and that's ok. We don't need an ETF for the coming raging bull market.

We probably need one for the raging bull after that though.

I'm just glad I sold all of my bitcoin and bought all rights to the Vegeta 9000 meme.

You mean you did not lose it all in an unfortunate seasteading accident?

dude, be kind to Elwar

the world needs people like him

No slight intended. If Elwar took offense, I guess I need to recalibrate my sarcastometer.

I doubt Elwar took offense. But if he did, and stopped posting here, how would we know he didn't lose it all in an unfortunate seasteading accident?

We wouldn't. Losing it all is just one of the potential dangers of being within a 12,000 mile radius of any seastead.

Yah, we need to keep him posting. Send us signs of life.

Its obviously meant to enrich the first BSV adopters.

Also cmon, Satoshi’s Vision implies BTC is not what satoshi envisioned which is just plain wrong and unethical to build a marketing campaign on.

Bit sad we have to explain this to you, one would expect more comprehension from someone who has been involved for a long time.

One can debate the term scam. At least it's a very unhealthy distraction from BTC, but this is true for any fork.
