The house band "The Jeff Healy band" was really really really good.
So after the movie I looked "the blind white guy" up because he was so good. Found out he was dead only lived from 1968 to 2009 41 is young. Went to YouTube and found a few of his songs.

Amazing guitarist, totally unique. When he was a teenager he was a regular at the Sunday night jams at one of our local bars. Blew everybody away. I jammed with him a couple of times.
Later he took over the old Paddock Tavern at Queen and Bathurst and turned the downstairs into Healey's.
Many guitarists with unusual playing styles end up being limited by their technique into their own unique sounds. Not Jeff Healey. He could play anything and sound like anyone he wanted to.
Like I said, totally amazing. Too bad he died so young.

So I watched the new version of road house mediocre at best.
But amazon then rolled it over to the old road house with Patrick Swayze. I would rate the move a bit better. But The house band "The Jeff Healy band" was really really really good.

dont forget that eclipse coming in on Monday....should be a good one if in the path of totality
not going to make it to Texas darn it...tho i thought about it heavily
time to get the garden going....soil needs some work...even tho i might get a dusting of snow again over the next few days...beautiful yesterday and today but shrug....
