You know, China seems like one of the markets best-suited to using mBTC instead of BTC as their base unit. The currency values for mBTC and CNY are virtually equal if you discount fluctuations in the BTC price. I don't think people made that much noise when mBTC reached parity with the CNY, though. Maybe we'll have to wait for mBTC=2 CNY for the big celebration.

Volume's as high as it ever was, but price has gone flat. This is the perfect opportunity for Bitstamp to catch up.

I am really shocked that no one from Japan or China is putting 6+ figures into Bitstamp, buying btc, transferring to Gox or ChinaBTC and cashing out. Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat. We are talking easy 10%+ profit every 3-4 days with wire times. On $100,000 investment, someone in Japan could clear $10k+ in profits weekly (conservative wire times) or $40k+ a month in arbitrage profits. $500,000 would be $200k+ in profits. A month.

.No sure if this is such a big deal, we also don't scream when stamp or gox move for dollar or two.
If the disparity gets too big, Stamp/Gox may snap up $5/$6 (or more) really quick. Stretching dat der rubber band.
Actually, seems like a great time to pick up btc since btcchina is at $189~ now..
