if i am correct the avalon asic project just sold another 40 units today.
that means about 40 units times 100 BTC each.. that people are going to have to send to avalon.

I did not expect it so soon.
avalon was just testing and failed to tell everyone i guess. so the orders were fake.
6 confirmations to sell was the likely reason for the timing.

I would think it would be in their best interest to not dump it all at once. I know when BFL had their huge pre-order rush bit-pay did a gentle sell off, even allowing ppl to buy their bitcoins off the books so they didn't tank the price.
