Going by what happened last time (in no way thinking it accurately predicts he future) I speculate we are today exactly where we were on June the 16th last year on this chart:

What a stand off, there's like no volume. I wonder which way it'll break next, given the bearish past two weeks and the action I observed for the last 3-4 days my bet is on the sellers giving in first, what about yours?

Right, but if one side has USD, they are the ones that can effectively push the price up... The converse is true for the bitcoin side. What is the point of doing so (as it goes against their interests)?
If someone is manipulating properly, then they would be holding liquid on both sides. Adam was just pointing out that some of them would be USD heavy at this point and was not implying that there is a strict USD verse BTC groups.

Yeah - the war/fight between bulls and bears metaphor is a very lousy one - but people just like to see things explained in this way.
I don't even know what "bears" and "bulls" represent. I buy and sell bitcoins as needed. So does everyone else. Things change, complex things even more so. As simple as that.

I think its been clear for a long time now that at least 1 new big player has entered the market
and he means business.

the way we bounced back so fast when pirate dumped from 9 to 7 last month.
the way the falling knife was caught at 8ish and quickly bought up back to 10.
if you've been paying attention you know its not just 1 guy.
