It is different this time!
Yes and no.

The ability to transfer arbitrary amounts of currency to anyone on the planet quickly and without prior restraint is a new capability humans have never experienced before. There is a large pent up demand for this capability.

Of course the same rules of supply and demand apply to Bitcoin as much as they apply to anything else.

stuff

Aren't you the guy who sold at $29 saying it was the top?  Are you sure you're just not mad?

I sell all the time. Every single day. That has been my plan since day one. I am thrilled the price
is going up. I make more money. I just do not speculate by holding btc. I need USD to do things
with and prefer it.

And that is your post? A silly juvenile jab at someone with a differing opinion? No attempt
at providing a tidbit of humor in it? Nothing more clever then that?

Any thoughts on when the $million bid wall at 30 is gonna get impatient and move up? Think it's there to remind the bears there's big fish in that side of the pond?

side note, slowly crawling back to 60

Bears truly don't "get" Bitcoin.

Eventually it won't stop, barring some catastrophic Internet calamity.
Do not underestimate greed's ability to create this market.

Go hack Gox and then we'll talk.

It is a "new age" and old valuation ideas do not apply!
It is different this time!
You would be crazy not to invest! A big dummy!
It is a new paradigm!

That's not even my point.
This thing is gonna deflate harder than anything in the history of economics.

It's a currency acting just like a Ponzi. You think people making hella gains are being quiet about it? Word of mouth + greed will take us into the stratosphere.
The massive amount of coin trading hands in the past month should indicate that this is the real deal. It's cool though, ignore it. Strong hands moving in to position to catch your weakness.

Please sell before the inevitable collapse of our beloved Bitcoin.

When you guys inevitably decide to get together and feast on 1 BTC worth of pizza rolls, please invite me.

If I ever attend any sort of Bitcoin meetup or whatever, I'll be sure to do that!

My bot is loving this, I even had to add a new tier of volatility detection to stop it from maxing out its API limit (it hit 30/hour two hours running).

Which API are you using (and/or on which exchange)?

I think there will come a point where individuals who have been selling will realize the mistake of having one user holding so much BTC value is not a good idea when the whole point is about distribution and acceptance of the idea of Bitcoin. It's better to hold at the moment and wade in the shallows than going into deep with a life vest saying,"Don't Eat me!".

I think this is finally the last push before we see a strong reversal and, probably, head into the teens and maybe even single digits again.  In the past as the price has gone up the total on order bid volume has increased, but this time it looks like money from bid orders was used to buy.  That suggest to me that the behind the scenes buyers are out, and now people who have put lower bids up are buying, thinking it will go higher.  Now's the time for the bears to attack.  I think the crash is going to be massive.

Do not doubt how gullible people can be. The market can stay irrationally bullish for longer then we can imagine.

While I might not agree with the exact details of your post the downturn that will eventually come will be painful for many btc holders.
I get the feeling that many here have very few "other" investments and this is all new to them. It is fun. An exciting time for them. Putting
hundreds or thousands of dollars into this neat new idea where everyone can make awesome returns just by holding btc. Everyone is a
winner! Lets pat each other on the back. Always grateful for the next fool in line to buy up btc at the next price level.

Eventually it will stop. Perhaps those who bought at 30 will not lose anything. The price could stabilize for years to come at 30. But the
fresh meat coming in at some point will take a heavy hit. It is the nature of the beast. Nothing goes up forever.

I am happily selling my btc, that I mine, at each new higher price level. Thankful that the skyrocketing diff is being offset by a higher price.
I did not buy asics because of the real risk that was out there of not getting anything from a flop of an asic company. I also realize that
those who took the risk of buying from avalon are reaping big rewards! But eh, in approx a year or whatever, those asic boxes will be
making what my gpus make today in btc. A rush to the bottom there.

Anyway. Proudhon makes sense to me. Come up with a plan. An exit strategy. Determine what profit you wanted out of this adventure
and follow through. No one can call the top. Happy with 500% profit? Sell now and dont worry about that other percentage you missed
out on as hindsight is 20/20.

Now back to bulls.

People selling right now must have balls of steel.

No. They're just unapologetically stupid.

I apparently need to repeat myself.  If you sell below $60 you need a trip back to the 3rd grade and work on your primary school degree.

Why chastise them for giving us cheap coins?

Because I have no more USD Grin

Well, I feel that they may have thus far gone their whole not life knowing.  I'm doin' them a service now by telling them.
