Well, this is not as bad as the 2010 bug. The network is not split. Double spend risk is not increased as far as I know. The blockchain is split though, which is a big problem. It will be solved, and things will go back to normal for the network.

My price prediction for very soon: below $20. Bitcoin is currently experiencing the biggest technical problem that it has had since 2010. There is a hard fork situation, a bug in 0.8. It will be solved in a few hours but this is such a massive reliability hit.
Accepting bitcoins for anything at this moment is risking a double spend.

I'm NOT trolling. Mt. Gox stopped deposits, S.DICE down as well. Everyone important in the Bitcoin world is in IRC solving this problem right now. Mining pools are reverting to 0.7 to support the non-buggy fork of the blockchain. This is as serious as it gets.
I'm predicting a shitstorm of gigantic proportions for this. It will be solved soon but the consequences for Bitcoin reliability are grave.

Short to medium term. Even if they solve it well, it'll shake confidence for quite a while, and rightly so. While the problem isn't devastating and they're handling it well, "serious technical problem" is one of the things on my list of things that could make bitcoins practically worthless overnight.
