can you tell us at what price you got these?
I dunno if I'd chase this big spike in BTC/USD... normally when you chase a big spike you get burned when it retraces. I'm patiently waiting for the market to become buyer-saturated, and will take advantage of the ensuing panic. It will be then that I start buying -- looking for a retest of support near $12.50-ish level...

So then tell me which commodities are there where you have such detailed information on the whole orderbook like it is the case with mtgox & bitcoin?
You must be confused. I have never said I have detailed information on any order book in any market.

I am not aware I insulted you, but you are making some very big assumptions which are causing us both grief.
First, I did not say I was a psychologist or a professional trader (although I am one of them).
Second, I did not say I was 45.

In the humble opinion of a person older than 45 who is a professional trader, the askwall at $16 will have to be bought out.

Most of the ask walls are market plays, not sellers.
This one at $16 looks legit and will have to bought out...
They are all legit as long as there are in the order book. And unless you have done statistical analysis on the walls your statement about how they look doesn't mean a thing.
You definition of legit is strictly material and does not account for emotion.
A seller sells. Market plays retreat under trades.
or
One stands and delivers, the other sits on the fence.
Of course it doesn't mean anything. But after watching markets for 30 years, you get a vibe...
