EDIT: Damm it... I forgot I had it in EUR... Ignore me... I'm dumb.

Uh... Why is Mtgox.com telling me that the price is 11.19?

MTGox, you're drunk. Go home, you're gonna crash the market.

Do we just go crazy up or can we expect another wall to pop-up somewhere in short order?

Depends if anyone learned anything from June 2011 or not. No need to go crazy. I'm hoping the bears can put up some kind of resistance.

They've got a shot at a short term head and shoulders that could bring us back to the 14.2 area if they can gather the powder.

I for one am making my usual mistake and selling a little at a time on the way up because I keep thinking "this is the top for now".

Like suggested before I should try to sell on the turn-down. That's hard, though. It might be quick and I doubt we'll drop much.. just some healthy correction. Below or above $15, I don't know.

With the speed that we went through $14.XX I'm starting to think that the major bears blew their was trying to crash the market in the $13.30's.  I wouldn't be surprised if the only selling we see from here on in is mostly normal people/business selling to recoup spent USD.

Bitcoins almost sold out globally.

But I can understand people not putting their coins up for sale in a bull market we are in.

bitinstant out of reserves for btc-e

Consequences will never be the same!   Shocked

But what exactly happens because of this?  Does their volume merely move to other exchanges?

someone educate me.  what does bitinstant have to do with btc-e?

bitinstant allows people to send USD to and from MtGox and BTC-e.
they do this for all of the exchanges.

Sell on Gox
transfer money
Buy on BTC-E
Repeat as needed
Profit Huh

for a %3.99 fee.

1.49% Bitinstant, 0.2% BTC-E, 0.6% (or less) MtGox. 2.29% is break even.

ah, ok. There's a slight "bug" on the site: if you don't enter an amount, the fee will be quoted as 3.99%

I have seen a bigger spread on Virtex. Buy on Virtex after selling on Gox? Possible but I would want a 4% spread after factoring the CAD / USD rate in a stable or falling market.

been trying to get funds into gox since last week. Finally put in a support ticket and today they said they had to talk with their dev team as to why it took so long. Still waiting for the funds but at least they said it was in the que.

bullocks.

Coinbase.com is my favorite method for buying and selling but it might only be available to US citizens. You have to link your bank account with your Coinbase account but that is painless as they don't require any of the identity validation like Gox and Dwolla. You do have to wait the 3-5 business days or so to receive your coins, but the exchange rate is locked in as soon as you initiate the purchase. And the fee is only 1%, so if you're a casual buyer, it's an excellent (perhaps the best?) option.

Bitfloor is pretty painless.  Oh, wait, that's where I buy.... It's only good for selling BTC Wink.

Forget Gox.  Try BTC-E, BitStamp, or BitFloor instead.   You get better prices and better service.

ClarkMoody is really hopping tonight!  And MtGoxLive works fine in Opera, while making Firefox run like a cow.

I'm making popcorn with truffle salt, opening a bottle of wine, and watching the action.

Hoard ALL the Bitcoins!!  Death to the defenders of $15!!
