UPDATE: July 8, 2015
========================

We deployed a pretty big update. The biggest thing is that website owners can now use our web widget to help their users to fund their web account. This is a feature only open to a select few and not a lot of people know about it -- except you since you're reading -- as our website https://wallofcoins.com does not have any literature about this feature. Check it out!

http://genitrust.github.io/woc-reference-client/

Once you go there, click "Web Widget". There are examples here that have many use cases. For example, let's say your website is a special kind of web wallet. How can the end user load their web wallet with bitcoin easily? Well, if your end user is in the USA, you can show them the web widget, which will guide them to where they can get bitcoin to load up their wallet with the lowest rate available Smiley

Other website updates and fixes fall under the following:

  • Web masters can publish our Buying Wizard using a web widget to help their users get bitcoin. Publishers can get a commission for helping out the community, depending on when fees are accumulated
  • Buying Wizard is more clear about what location information is used for and gently prompts the user for location info if necessary.
  • Better safeguards put in place to help sellers differentiate and validate payments.

UPDATE: June 23, 2015
========================

We keep pumpin' out them updates!! Rather than going through a laundry list, we released more updates on the 23rd to help sellers manage and delineate between their orders. By Monday morning we're planning to deploy a bunch of minor upgrades, as well as introduce a pretty significant feature. Wish us luck while we finish up getting things past our quality assurance testing Smiley

UPDATE: June 15, 2015
========================

On this date, we had a *ton* of updates. Many were minor bugs and minor refactoring of the code base. A majority of the update was for the back-end to support our growing team. Wall of Coins now has 12 team members in total...wow! As for front-end updates that users will notice, those are just around the corner.

Ok so is this legit.. you will know as soon as you send you the money order and send the coins? and is the order is that like 261,920.76 ƀits    .26 coins or something? it doesnt say on the order how much bitcoins im getting unless thats it and thats just how you say it..

Yup, it's legit. Also, yes, 261,920.76 ƀits is 0.26 Bitcoin. And yes, that amount *is* the amount of bitcoin you will receive for the order. Pretty straight forward, eh? Cheesy Thank you for asking! Smiley

...all I want to say, is that there have recently been a *lot* of updates @.@ most of them have been for our admin staff. Since a couple of months ago, Wall of Coins has been growing exponentially EVERY week @.@ I fear that sometime soon I may not be able to keep this thread updated, but have another individual update it.

Anyways, our goal will remain the same going forward: help people get bitcoin in a manner that is......

  • as quickly as possible (we are the *only* place that delivers coins within 15 minutes of verified payment)
  • as safe as possible (absolutely zero of our buyers and sellers have been scammed due our our shielding process and policies, and we are still the ONLY place that is 100% transparent with our funds and 100% cold storage)
  • as much convenience and support as possible! (we're STILL the only place with a toll free number that you can call and speak with a human being for tech support, help getting a wallet, help with getting bitcoin, etc)
  • as secure as possible! (good SSL certificate, internal business practices to make it impossible for any "inside job" theft, always using 2FA without getting in the way of our service's ease of use...

Glad everyone is enjoying Wall of Coins Smiley Any and all feedback is welcome!!!

UPDATE: April 3, 2015
========================

  • Citi bank icons restored Smiley
  • For sellers, we now support dynamic pricing based on other Bitcoin markets. More info below...

We have added the ability for sellers to sell their bitcoin at a dynamic price. However, our sellers can add a "Backup Market" parameter for their dynamic price. This means that a seller's price will still follow some market's price, should another market get hacked or fail. More information on this reddit discussion:

We just added another *huge* feature on Wall of Coins. This helps people Gift one another Bitcoin. For example, you can gift your friends, family, or loved ones over the holidays. And of course... beyond the holidays Smiley I think this is a great way to help Bitcoin adoption...

...what other ideas do people have for further Bitcoin adoption?

Anyways, I will certainly be giving more Bitcoin gifts than usual this season. For those of you who already have Bitcoin, check out http://bitaddress.org to generate some paper wallets to give people some Bitcoin! You can inspire others and tell them, "hey! this is like a global gift note...redeemable by many online companies. Or you can trade it for cash." It also gives people the opportunity to use and experience Bitcoin for the first time. If you don't have Bitcoin (or you have run out of Bitcoin), and you still want to give Bitcoin to others to help adoptions, you can use https://wallofcoins.com to gift others Bitcoin!

UPDATE: November 19, 2014
========================

Last night we updated Wall of Coins. These updates address the many suggestions we've received over the past couple of months. This was a huge update. New features...

1. Added the Wall of Coins Ticker to the front page. Default view displays how many bits one can buy with $1. (Click the ticker to switch to USD/BTC view.)
2. Developers may still access the “market” API information:
    a. https://wallofcoins.com/api/public/v1/ticker
    b. https://wallofcoins.com/api/public/v1/transactions
    c. https://wallofcoins.com/api/public/v1/orderBook
3. Able to cancel or discard location tracking when finding Bitcoin to buy.
4. Many “edge case” bugs fixed.
5. Buyer matching algorithm tightened and improved.
6. Buyers now have more options to get more Bitcoin for their price budget, or even acquire more Bitcoin than listed on the Wall of Coins web client.
7. “Multiple Banking” offers are available to help buyers purchase more coins across banks.
8. Can now search (typing search) through our supported banks on the bank fields.
9. Citibank now supported! (Indirectly)
10. All Wells Fargo and Bank of America locations are up-to-date and will now be synchronized regularly -- Thanks to our partnerships.
11. Buyers can now purchase more Bitcoin as they wait for previous order verification.
12. “Sell” dashboard has a major over-haul:
    a. Sellers can have multiple Selling Accounts
    b. All selling accounts are summarized on the main page
    c. Sellers have access to all Sales deposit history
    d. Ability to modify Selling Account Bitcoin purchase rate is more obvious.
    e. Sellers can verify or invalidate deposits directly from the web client, instead of through mobile text messaging.
13. Buyers may also confirm deposits through the web client, rather than mobile text only.
14. Buyers are notified via mobile text message when their purchase has been delivered.
15. Website and text message verbiage updated for simplicity and clarity.
16. Sellers no longer find their own Selling Account when searching to buy Bitcoin Smiley
17. Now integrating the “bits” symbol, and promoting “bits” usage for unit amounts under 1 Bitcoin.
18. Developers can now use our Buy API to integrate directly into their applications.
